Low-key kitchen serving up traditional American breakfasts such as scrambled eggs & pancakes.

Nothing that wow’d us, but a fine enough place to grab some basic grub. The atmosphere is very homey and basic, with a few TV’s on the wall. The service was ok: our server was nice enough, but a little slow, especially considering it was not a busy time. The food was very meh for all 4 of us. The bacon and sausage both tasted like low quality meat, so much so that I didn’t even finish the sausage (which is normally my go-to, favorite meat). My daughter had an omelette, which she said was ok. Coffee was a bit weak, but topped off frequently, so that was nice. The prices felt high considering the menu is very basic and the quality just ok. Overall, it was fine, but not a place I would visit again, nor recommend.

Small town/family friendly atmosphere with excellent food and service!
We were visiting family for the Thanksgiving weekend and we wanted to explore the area and experience local restaurants and were referred by out family to The Breakfast Place.
I was craving corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy and my girlfriend wanted a seafood omelette.
The menu is full of breakfast, brunch, and even other meal favorites, including bulgogi!
My corned beef hash platter had perfectly cooked sunny side eggs, perfectly fried hash browns, and very tasty corned beef hash which had a nice crispy crust with a still moist and juicy center. I ordered a side of sausage gravy, which was nicely thick and savory to go with my biscuit.
My girlfriend ordered the 3 egg seafood omelette and it was full of all the ingredients listed on the menu and was well seasoned. Her hash browns were similarly perfectly cooked as mine.
We wish we don’t live over 6 hours away or we would eat here regularly. We came here on a Saturday morning but are seriously considering stopping by on Sunday morning to try the bulgogi before we leave for our drive back home!

Family friendly, reasonably priced, the seafood omelette was delicious. My husband food was so good he shook his head (several times) remarking that’s good. Cristina was very attentive, excellent server! Before leaving we knew this is a spot to come back to. Happy eats!

Probably best fruit bowl you’ll get anywhere, but sad to say that was the end of my good time here. The omelet isn’t an omelet it’s I dunno what to call it, the service is okay, she was nice but drinks sat empty most the visit, every plate of food was delivered about 5-10 min apart. It’s a good local spot, probably great for dining alone. Hashbrowns were really good but for me that was the lone bright side. Worth a shot for breakfast lovers and locals supporters. Place needs massive overhaul in terms of inside look. Looks like an old American Legion inside but works for them.

The service was wonderful, super nice and attentive! The food was nothing to write home about. It was normal, but nothings grand like you’d think a “mom n pop” breakfast place would be. I ordered an omelette and it had American cheese slices in it as if they took velvetta slices, and not real egg but the powdered egg substitute you put in a giant container. The gravy for biscuits and gravy was decent but again, it was basic and nothing to write home about. Once again…the people that worked in there were wonderful and welcoming and nice!

The Breakfast Place is my favorite place for morning coffee, substantial breakfasts, and polite and efficient serving staff. If you’re a person that needs to try gimmicky, “trendy,” or over-the-top tourist settings stay away.
A soothing chatter as regular patrons discuss their lives, retirees gather to reminisce, and people like me the prefer comfortable seats, excellent coffee, properly prepared breakfast.
This morning the parking lot seemed full but The Place had plenty of seating inside-groups and couples–with very efficient and friendly staff.
I ordered from the menu, complete with some of the best grits Ive had at a restaurant in a long time. Eggs over easy, toast, smoked sausage, excellent coffee and juice.
If you’re looking for Real. Good. Food. The Breakfast Place is, well, the place for breakfast.

We stopped in on a Saturday around 9:45 am. We were able to find a table right away. Our waitress greeted us quickly, overall service was very quick.
My husband ordered the Western Omlette, and I ordered a two egg plate and waffle. Everything was verybtasty, and a great price for the portion size.

This place was mostly locals with friendly waitresses who know everyone. Food was good, served in a timely manner but lacked spices and flavor. BEC sandwich served on plain white toast just bland. I would go again because the place gives off the pleasant hometown feeling.
