We stopped by for Greek food on the way back from up north. Their salad and gyro are delicious and so satisfying to eat. Fish and chips were very crispy without tasting too greasy. Service was attentive and fast.

Food was amazing. Very clean healthy and delicious. The Greek dressing is worth bottling up. We went with 2 kids and everyone loved the meal including my daughter with their pita pizza. Owner super nice treated us to complimentary desserts to go.

We took a trip to Lagrangeville today in hopes of seeing some of the balloons from the balloon festival and decided to have dinner at Athena Gryo. What a fantastic experience! The staff and employees were so kind and friendly and the food outstanding! There are price points and selections to suit any budget or appetite. While its a bit of a trip from our house, I’d definitely go the extra miles to make a return visit! If you’re passing through, consider stopping by . . . if not for a meal, maybe for some of their wonderful greek desserts! There were plenty to choose from!

Fantastic family owned restaurant with generous portions and friendly service. The gyro sandwich is delicious and huge and the falafel are light and tasty. In fact—it’s some of the best falafel I’ve had in the U.S. The atmosphere is clean, bright and cheerful, and speaking of cheerful, our waitress was a delight, and the owner came out to say hi and check on our meal. This is an all round excellent place where you can enjoy a home-cooked Greek meal without having to break the bank. Oh—and the baklava is superb too!

Wonderful gem of a place. Not fancy- but very comfortable welcoming. I hope that they share their recipes someday. Lemon potatoes are mouthwatering and tender. The stuffed tomato and green bell pepper is delicious. I’ll be back!

The side salad that came with my platter was delicious and very fresh–and big enough to be a meal on its own. The ionic platter was super tasty too and I got 2 more meals from the leftovers! Excellent coffee too! The food brought back memories of visiting Greece.

Stopped for lunch between Pennsylvania and New England. A serendipitous stop to put it mildly. Super friendly, beautiful patio, fast service, reasonable price and best of all delicious gyro and Greek fries. Our other items were falafel on pita, a chicken gyro and last but not least the biggest plate of chicken fingers and fries. Maximum points on all. We’ll definitely be back.

Found this place after researching place for lunch near Chuang Yen Monastery. I love that they offer platters so I can get all my Greek favorites on 1 platter and not have to decide on 1. Ionian platter was mine. My kids shared the Greek meats platter. Greek salads that came with platters were yummy too. Fries were super fresh and crispy. For dessert I ordered Bougatsa and Baklava. Huge slice of each came to our table! Bougatsa, served warm, was delightful. Can’t wait to eat the baklava after we eat all of our leftovers! We’ll go visit the monastery again in the Spring, I can’t wait to go back. Our server was very friendly!

Stoped by this restaurant on our way to Walkway over the Hudson bridge and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Great fresh authentic Greek food, good quick service. Be aware of huge portions. Baklava was one of the best I had in Greek restaurants in NY area
