Decided to grab dinner with my colleagues and popped in Sushi Murasaki. First off there’s another restaurant that’s the in same building and you get both menus so that was confusing at first. That’s no problem, had a nice and quick waiter and order some sushi. Food came out fast and no one had to wait or feel left out. Here’s where I have a problem, the price and the quality of food. I ordered a spider roll which I’ve had plenty of times at other restaurants. This is the first time I’ve gotten a spider roll for SIXTEEN dollars and you only get FIVE pieces? That’s insane, that is just straight robbery and every other sushi restaurant I’ve been to has never been so greedy. They can’t even use the atmosphere as an excuse because it’s just a normal building with loud music playing. The taste was fine, however, they can’t even roll the damn roll correctly if you see in the picture. If I’m gonna pay $16 for 5 pieces it better be rolled right smh. Restaurant is an absolute joke and there are plenty of other sushi places you’re better off going to for the price point there. The only positives is that the staff is friendly and efficient.

Had a nice sit down sushi dinner. Menu was full of specialty’s. The place was clean and vibrant. Our server was very friendly and he knew the menu well. Prices were reasonable for the specialty’s, but sushi was a little overpriced. Sushi was good but the rice was dry not sticky. The drink menu was good and reasonably inexpensive in my opinion. I would definitely revisit again.

The sushi at Sushi Murisaki was sooo good—super fresh and flavorful. I also ordered hibachi and it was hands down the best hibachi I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a new favorite spot. Highly recommend!

I can’t honestly remember if i’ve eaten here before, but they must have updated since then because the inside looked new and refreshed. Sushi was some of the best i’ve had in SC and service was great. All around great experience.

So, they were busy. I get that. But when the food came out, it was a little…lacking. Hard to taste the fish (heaven roll), and the rice was a bit stale (possibly undercooked) in the rolls (eel). I love sushi, so it’s hard for me to get turned down…but I’d give the sushi a solid 6.5/7 out of 10. Fun atmosphere, but I don’t know if I’ll make another run

This place is awesome! It’s right on Main and Washington. I had a Chicken Wok dish and my wife had a Lobster Ramon dish. Food was very good, service is great and atmosphere is nice.

Quick seating, friendly staff, and our waiter, Dylan J C, went above and beyond with helping us with menu selection. They were extremely accommodating with our small children as well. We will definitely be back and recommend to other friends!
