let me start by saying our server is quite new, and let me finish by saying that is NOT the problem.
not only are the lights in here brighter than the sun itself (even at dinnertime), but there are so many questions and absolutely no answers. where are all of my go-to foods? just wiped from the menu? is half-apps even a thing here anymore? why is there a cringey fluorescent photo booth in the hallway? why are there three different patterns of flooring despite the remodel? why are the portions smaller but the price is the same?
the staff are all wearing different color shirts, my friends combo was out for 10+ mins before i got my food, i ordered a white moscato and ended up with a sweet red…
if the food wasn’t so mediocre i’d put up with it but this atmosphere is ALL wrong. iHop or not.

Let me just say, our server is the reason for this bad review
With myself working in the service industry I feel I have a more general understanding for servers. However, our server, I was very unhappy with. My daughter and I came there to eat. We were greeted by the host and seated right away (great first impression) however, our SERVER took a good 3-4 minutes to first greet us, by this time my daughter and I were ready to order. Our server greeted us, looking very unhappy, no smile, very monotone. She asked how we were etc. As she is on the tablet for ordering, she PULLS her phone out of her apron and apologized stating “sorry let me just silence that” I NEVER heard her phone ringing! So I was unhappy then. If you’re at work, leave your phone in the back or just simply ignore it in front of your customers.
We placed our order, the food was good, we were all done eating, I had the plates stacked up (see pic) and the server just walked on by. Never asked if anything was needed. Came back a good 5 minutes later asking if we were waiting on the check. I said yes and she asked if we were paying cash or card. I said probably cash, she told me the total. I said can you print it? She printed, I left the cash on the table and left. I’ve been many places where the service was ok, but this was just awful.

So we show up relatively early on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant is half empty, but there’s still a 15 minute wait to get seated for a party of five. We finally get seated and it’s another 15 minutes before somebody comes to take a drink order, it’s another 35 minutes before somebody comes to take a food order and that’s only because we flagged them down and asked them if they were gonna take our food order. We ordered a couple of bowls of soup which you know they’ve got premade in the back and they just have to throw into a little bowl and warm up, and some boneless buffalo wings not exactly a multi course gourmet meal. 45 minutes later, they bring out part of our order and part of somebody else’s order and get pissed off when we tell them its not the right food. One of the bowls of soup came out, barely room temperature, another one came out in a paper cup, like half the size of the other bowl of soup, the boneless buffalo wings were room temperature at best… Somebody would’ve gotten severely sick if they had eaten these. We sent it back and we asked for a manager and you know what? That manager could’ve cared less in any way shape or form, argumentative and rude are the best qualities that I could say about this person. I get you don’t wanna be at work on a Saturday night, I get you wish you had a better job, but this is a job you have so take a little bit of pride in it and try to do it. I can’t remember a worse trip to any restaurant ever in my entire life. This was laughable. We left without getting any food after an hour and a half, we just got up and walked out, they never brought us food that we could eat we gave up and went somewhere else.

The food was REALLY bad. When my brothers food came out it looked and tasted like it was sitting for quite a bit before we got. The overall taste and experience was really bad. The server took a very long time to get to our table to do thing like fill up water or check in.

My mom and I visited this location Saturday (01/17/2025) we walked and were greeted right away, and seated. The restaurant was not at all busy when we came in, over half empty in there, lots of staff standing around the bar area.
We got seated and told our waiter would be with us soon, we thanked our host and then we sat, and sat and sat and sat and soon it was 30 minutes, staff kept walking past us not helping us, I was so upset and never experienced such horrible customer service EVER.
My one year old daughter was screaming and crying, as we waited for ever to get waited on… we eventually just stood up and had to walk out and find a new restaurant.
I’ll never recommend this location to anyone. You guys should be ashamed, to make someone wait that long and still not come to even offer us a drink is ridiculous.
EDIT: I received a follow up call after the original review from a manager at Applebees offering me 3 free meals next time we were in the area, this last Saturday (1/31/26) we decided to go back and give them a chance.
Service was a lot better, they were very busy so there was a wait at times but this time it was understandable compared to our first visit when it was almost empty.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan fettuccine, and was good! I also tried their artichoke and spinach dip, and fried pickles.. both of which were good! My mother got their ribs and said they were enjoyable too!
It was very packed and loud in there because of rush hour but we were checked on multiple times and I was happier this time around!
I appreciate them taking their time to correct the situation, an make it right!

We got the big deal meal for $9.99. We got the chicken sandwich and the bacon cheese burger. They both came with fries and a drink.
We were never told it was endless fries. Or we would have ordered more.
The chicken sandwich was a little overdone, only around the edges. The bacon burger was very good.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE. The new “remodel” looks terrible and nonexistent. Rude staff, terrible service.
All of the tables around us were dirty the entire time we were there.
After we ordered, the people behind us were smart and left right away when they were sat. I wish I did too.

For the price the food wasn’t that great. The establishment was cold had to keep jacket on the entire time I was eating. Didn’t like that we asked for butter pecan syrup and got blue berry even thoug the pour spout said butter pecan. They need to do better with making sure things are not messed up. Could have been allgeric to blueberries. The only thing that was great was our waiter he was awesome he made us laugh and enjoyed our jokes back to him.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived. We did have to wait approximately 10 minutes for a table, but there were several others waiting when we arrived – so they moved things along very quickly. The staff apologized multiple times for our wait. Service was good, food was great! We always stop here when in town.
