Super authentic taste, quality fish and thick cuts! Lunch menu deals are also really nice. Best sushi place in Seattle area (my previous top one was in Portland). I will be back and quite often

my go-to sushi place in the area for almost a decade now!
can get rather pricey but for the quality it’s well worth it.
service is very friendly and i am always recognized when i walk in
their omakase and chirashi bowls are must haves

In my opinion this is one of better sushi places in Redmond downtown area. It is pretty decent spot and I am coming here for the second time in last year or so. Sushi are great and services are quick. The chicken Karaage was also great. In past I have also tried their vegetarian options of sushi rolls and all of them was good. I still remember they have something like Buddha roll – I would recommend that to my vegan friends.

Most of their sushi is great! I like that it’s not too loud in there as well. But this last time the service was very slow and they didn’t really check on us. Also the Takoyaki only had one small piece of octopus in each pastry ball. I was surprised. Overall we do love it but there’s plenty of room for improvement.

This used to be my favorite sushi spot, but on my last visit, I saw something that honestly broke my heart. There were four small to medium *gold fish crammed into a tiny decorative fountain near the entrance. It’s not even a proper pond or fountain for fish, just a small fountain where they barely have room to move. Watching them stuck in such a cramped space was really sad and uncomfortable.
What makes it even more disappointing is that this is a sushi restaurant. You would think a place that serves seafood would have at least some level of respect for aquatic life. Seeing live fish treated like that feels completely wrong.
Because of this, I won’t be coming back. It’s really upsetting to see a place I once loved disregard something like this, and I’ll definitely be sharing my experience with others.
**UPDATE
I have contacted Redmond City Animal Control and officially opened a case regarding the fish being kept in improper conditions. This small decorative fountain, the kind meant for a kitchen countertop, is absolutely not an appropriate environment for live fish, especially when they have no room to move. I’m very disappointed in the owner’s response as well. I will be continuing to press this issue until they are provided with the proper conditions.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to one of my favorite sushi restaurants. So good and consistent.

We ordered take out here many times and almost always were very satisfied, but a couple of days ago got a very bad salmon cut on our double salmon roll. I’m not sure I’ll return.

This has been our go to favorite sushi spot for the last 15+ years. We just absolutely love this place. The food is spectacular and the price is fair. Most importantly it’s consistent every single time we go there it’s amazing quality. The service is awesome, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend the OTO roll! Also the mango crab salad roll!

While they only have a handful of vegetarian/vegan options for sushi, I find the options enough to satisfy my sushi cravings. It is my goto place for sushi in the Eastside.
Here is what we ordered :
Veggie lover roll – My absolute favorite
Maui Roll – Very good, recommend
Green Village roll – Good
Avacado maki – basic yet good
Veggie Yakisoba – Good , my friends really liked it.
They don’t have all the vegetarian options on the lunch menu, but they’ll provide the full menu upon request.

Used to be a good place to eat sushi but they seem to change. Also in our pickup order no chopsticks, forks or soy sauce although they said it is in the bag. We were planning to eat at the park but we went to park and realized we cannot eat the food… had been a dissapointment for the kids especially.
