We had a large group looking for dinner after a convention and after being turned away from a few other places, we were able to walk right in. We were all able to sit together as well. There was only one person bartending and serving all the tables so service was slow, but we weren’t really in a rush either. The food came out fast and was delicious! Between the group there were ribs, gumbo, a burger and a fish sandwich and everything was great! The Cajun ribs were on the better end of some other places we’d tried. Gumbo was flavorful!

This place started out ok. Mixed crowed and good band. Problem came when we got seated and this Karen waitress started arguing with the black door guy for seating us in her area. Made a huge scene and other customers started leaving. Completely unprofessional and childish. Needless to say I didn’t spend any money with them due to her racist behavior. A friend of mine did say their fried tomatoes were good. She needs to be disciplined. I won’t ever go back.

This place was quite the disappointment. I consider myself a veteran WWF fan and I was so excited to go to this place. First of all the place was filthy. There were cigarette ashes everywhere and the tables were so sticky and gross. The waitress was on her phone the whole time and I don’t think even spoke to me once. She just kept nodding towards my drink to ask if I wanted more. The memorabilia and I use that term loosely, was pretty funny. It literally just was WWE posters on the wall. The food was mediocre at best. Like I said before I really expected so much more for this spot. It was quite the let down.

We stopped in on a Friday evening about 6:00 pm. The menu looked ok but nothing really interesting. We ordered a chicken sandwich and an order of tenders. After we ordered we looked at the Google Map reviews and got worried.

Long story short this is our first and last time to eat here. The food was hot and served within 20 minutes. The Mac & cheese was crusty and not good. The chicken was all very greasy. The menus were slimy. The salt & pepper shakers were nasty dirty.

They automatically add 18% TIP on every check. Then the waitress handed me the credit card machine on the screen to add additional TIP. I hate pre added tips – especially for 2 people dining.

We stopped in about 9pm on a slow Thursday night. We didn’t order food but were there for the live music that caught our attention walking by. Decent space inside with a unique WWE wrestling ambiance. Server was nice as we sat at our own table. We didn’t wait long to be served which is always nice. The band stopped after 2 songs for a break. Then the TV went on and people slowly started leaving. That was a strange feeling being on Beale st in a bar at 9pm now with about 4 other people in complete silence other than the commercials from the tv. It got depressing and we bounced. I would return for the music.

Very fun bar to hit up when you’re partying on Beale St. I was a huge wrestling fan growing up through AWA and WWF. I don’t remember Lawler (maybe he was in the NWA), but I do recall the Andy Kaufmann debacle, which is commemorated here. There is live music, it’s a festive family and party place. I don’t recall if there’s food. King Jerry himself was in the bar that night, but I wasn’t able to get a photo. It’s worth a pop in.

It took us 15 to 20 minutes to order our first round. One waitress was handling at least 17 four-top tables.
The band was good, they had audience members come up & sing. It was live-music karaoke. Very fun.
They might our business but they didn’t keep our business. We took our drinks and went down the street.

Good atmosphere but waited a long time for a drink. Singer was brilliant and good fun. Bar could do with a bit of a clean as very untidy but the music made up for it. We didn’t stay long but was a good atmosphere ..

Food was not flavorful. Mac and cheese came straight from a box. Ribs were tender, but definitely not grilled. Baked beans straight from the can. Very disappointed. I definitely informed the waiter of my experience. Also informed the guy standing outside waving people inside.

The memorabilia is fantastic! Highly recommend a stop in to look the photos and memorabilia. My husband ordered ribs and coleslaw which he really enjoyed. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, but I would not get that again.
