This contemporary pizza joint with many custom & specialty pies is known for its oversized slices.

Pizza was decent, a tad bit too salty & I like salt I wasn’t able to finish. Fries were soggy & tasteless. The guy working at the cash register was pleasant. Overall I probably wouldn’t come back.

Where do I begin? Lighthouse pizza, once a staple of my life. A restaurant I would frequent weekly with friends and family. A location that I would constantly bring new people to. The perfect way to end a night was going through the lighthouse pizza drive through at 2 am. If you haven’t been to lighthouse in the past year keep it that way.. unfortunately what was once one if the best pizza places in the 402, became victim of new ownership which has tarnished this businesses legacy. I’m extremely disappointed with the changes to the once delicious sauce, which now just taste like generic sauce from your local grocery store. The legendary honey wheat dough? Gone. The amount of toppings you receive on top of your slice? Basically nothing compared to what it used to be. Don’t get me started on the extremely flat soft drinks which are no longer name brand. I’m genuinely confused what the thought process was to remove the super fries. And yet with all of these apparent attempts to cut cost, lighthouse has INCREASED their prices on pretty much every item on their menu. Like other reviews have stated, the staff is still excellent and doing their best with what they are being given. I’d love to see lighthouse return to its former glory, but until then I’m going to be staying away.

I used to love this place, but the new management has drug this place into the ground. The prices are now insane and they removed half their menu. On top of this, the food isn’t even good anymore. The staff told me themselves that the owner is greedy and he’s going to be the reason this place goes under. Used to be the best place to eat in Omaha, now, it’s just an overpriced mediocre pizza restaurant. Bring back my Tiger Fries and honey crust! It honestly makes me sad what this place has become.
Edit: the response from the owner proves my point. I was never a friend of the employees, and the fact he is responding to recent reviews with hate instead of taking them to heart and making much needed changes is exactly what’s wrong with this business. I love to support small businesses, and I have been a loyal customer from UNO for years. I don’t know if I will ever return after reading this unprofessional response. $9.50 for a slice of pizza, and $8 for super fries, is ubsurd and the fact the new owners believe this is reasonable, is exactly why this place will likely go under soon. The old prices were already high, but I was willing to pay to support the business. But maybe you need to reevaluate, because your own employees have openly told customers that it is your fault the prices and food has gone down hill. The other recent comments seem to agree with me. Just wow.

We ordered lighthouse to go. It had been a few years from either my wife or I having it. I forgot how much I enjoyed their special sauce. The pizza came out as ordered and the crust is nice and airy. The Mac n. Cheese slice was a little dry for our liking but that’s where some extra sauce doesn’t hurt. The pizza bread bites were burnt on the bottom so they were just okay and the marinara that came with it was super thick and more had to scoop it out than dip it. Overall a very positive experience and we won’t wait a few years to have it again.

I’ve been going to lighthouse for at least 6-7 years now. I’ve never been disappointed. The food is good, the service is always nice. I rate individually ranked stars as 4 because recently it feels as they’ve been trying to change/renovate the place, and in doing so have made dine in (I havent order carryout in a bit) sizes smaller. I could be wrong though.
Price isn’t amazing. I remember when you could get a Slice AND Fries for a tenner, but prices increase I get it.

Wow. What an impressive transformation.
Lighthouse used to be the place I bragged about. The “you HAVE to try this place” spot. The weekly tradition. The honey wheat crust alone was elite. The loaded fries? Legendary. It actually had flavor, personality, and a reason to choose it over every other pizza place within 50 miles.
Now? It tastes like someone Googled “how to make average pizza” and followed the first result.
The crust is gone (RIP honey wheat) The sauce tastes like it came from a bulk food distributor like Sysco (tastes exactly like the marinara that comes in the aluminum cans). The cheese? Completely forgettable. It’s honestly shocking how thoroughly they managed to remove every single thing that made this place special.
The new sauce for the “specialty” pizzas look like it was designed with the goal of blending in. Mission accomplished. If the objective was to become indistinguishable from every generic Midwestern pizza joint, congratulations you absolutely nailed it.
It’s just disappointing. This used to be a standout local favorite. Now it feels like a corporate personality transplant and just super cheap.
Service is still good, the staff are doing their best, but the food that made this place worth coming back for? Gone.
If whoever’s running things now ever decides to bring back the quality that built the loyal customer base in the first place, I’ll happily return. Until then, it’s just another pizza place that’s worth forgetting!

Who bought this place and why are they so determined to ruin everything that once made it great? I’ve loved Lighthouse pizza for so many years. I’ve recommended it to friends/family, and brought friends here who were visiting from out of town. I even came here religiously every Tuesday for quite some time.
Many generic pizza places all taste the same, and I’m usually not a fan of them, but Lighthouse was always different. It was always better, but not anymore.
At this point, they’ve changed everything about it that once put it a step ahead. The crust is different (no more honey wheat and even the regular crust is worse), the cheese is different, the sauce is different. Every component of their pizza now tastes like the most generic shitty pizza I could buy at any other mediocre pizza shop in the Midwest. They took all of their good specialty loaded fries off the menu. The entire menu now looks like the menu of a generic 1 star Italian restaurant.
I was once a loyal customer and it really pains me to see what has happened to this place. If the new owner can turn things around and bring Lighthouse back to its former glory, I’d be more than happy to be a loyal customer once again.

My wife wanted me to try Lighthouse pizza as it was one of her favorite places to go when she lived in Omaha. She still had loyalty punch cards for $2 off a slice from a while back and they honored them. She doesn’t really care for the sauce, but I thought it was a delightful addition to the meal and really regretted not having gotten the loaded fries with the sauce on them. I was a little hesitant only getting the one slice because I didn’t think it would be enough, but it was surprisingly filling. The dough is really airy and light and the toppings were so fresh. Being open so late is another play, by this establishment. I would definitely get a punch card and keep coming back.

Spent 20 minutes waiting through the drive thru as the second car. Spent the whole time listen to their Air Conditioning unit or something spinning their fans loudly. Returned home and the pizza was burnt beyond acceptable for an almost $10 slice.

Never been here decided to stop for lunch. Large quantities I had to take half of my pizza slice home. I also got to try their truffle fries delicious!
