I had their boneless Curried Chicken and Dhalpuri roti, along with a doubles. The roti was really soft and the dhal was grainy, yet soft, and not clumpy like others. The curry was a 9 out of 10 and I got a nice amount for the price. The channa for the doubles could use some love, but they made up for that with the dhalpuri.

We stopped by Summer Breeze for takeout. The restaurant has just recently opened, so it’s still finding its rhythm. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and the food was delicious, fresh and quite authentic. However, we did notice that the meat portions were a bit small. The duck serving we had was mostly bony pieces, and the goat in the roti wasn’t enough to fill it, so most bites were mainly the other fillings. That said, we are looking forward to coming back for more tasty food.

I really wanted to like this place because the customer service was great and the restaurant was extremely clean. As someone with a Caribbean background who is familiar with Trinidad food, I was disappointed in the flavor. While they offer authentic Trinidad meals, the seasoning and bold flavor that Trinidad food is known for was missing. The food tasted very bland and did not meet my expectations. I hope they improve as they get established, but based on my experience, I would rate it 1 star.

The food is homemade and taste delicious! Service is fast and the staff is friendly. They have curry chicken, curry goat, oxtail, doubles and more. Their doubles are amazing and made fresh every day.
