The food is decent I guess it depends what you pick. So I guess the consistency is not there. I get the pot roast most of the time and it truly is the best pot roast you will ever have. However there salads that come with the pot roast are not the best. It feels like they make a ton of them and put them in the refrigerator so by the time you get the salad there is a puddle of water under the salad. The service is also mediocre not the greatest. Overall I would recommend them.

First time at Village Tavern and we had a great time. Food was delicious. Chicken tenders were a must and didn’t disappoint. Also had a patty melt , and it was also delicious. The grilled onions were so perfectly cooked. Service was good. They had some drink specials too, which was great!

I recently ordered the chicken fingers platter at this establishment, and it exceeded expectations. The platter includes 6 delicious chicken fingers, and the variety of dipping options, such as ranch and mango habanero, added a delightful twist. Opting for the soup on the side was a great choice, and the sweet potato fries and tater tots (with a small additional cost) were worth every penny. The service was impressively fast, and our server was not only sweet but also provided exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning for another satisfying experience. 5 stars!

Overall a solid place to grab some bar and grill food. Everything tasted good and the service was fine. The prices were fair and reasonable. I was really impressed with the mozzarella sticks and the chili. My companions had some cheeseburgers that they really enjoyed as well.

Worst food experience. We came for the St. Patrick’s Day special and were disgusted. Ordered the Reuben Wrap, a new addition to the menu, and was described the same as the Reuben sandwich on their regular menu: “Lean, hand-cut Corned Beef…”. Nothing about this meat was lean. Felt like we were eating thick-cut rubber. Told our waitress (who was actually lovely), she said she could discount the meal after talking to the manager. Manager came to our table and said “we probably won’t put it on the menu next year” but did nothing to discount our meal or make up for this disgusting experience. Never coming back.

Based on take-away experience:
Fish and chicken fingers dinners are delish. Their honey-mustard is amazing. Fried mushrooms were huge and beer battered but so over salted I couldn’t eat them. We have received incomplete take-away orders twice.

A friend and, I went to Village Tavern & Grill for lunch this past Saturday.

We started off with the “XXL Potato Skins.” I love potato skins and, these were super good!

To start, my meal came with either soup or salad. I went with the creamy chicken with rice soup. The soup was really, really good. For my main course, I ordered “Mom’s Perfect Pot Roast” and, it was pretty good. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and, vegetable of the day (a mix of carrots, cauliflower and, broccoli). I just wish they served dinner rolls with the meal.

My friend ordered the “Village Chicken Salad.” It was huge; even the chicken pieces were huge. It did look beautiful and, delicious.

Our server, she was great! Halfway through our meal, she brought us each a fresh drink which was nice.

If/when I go there again, I will try something else. Not sure what yet.

Overall, it’s a great place to go for lunch.

Lisa, Grace, and Sophie have been so good to us over the years! The cream of chicken soup on Saturdays is the best soup!! My dad and I will truly miss this staple of our time spent together. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for the community.
