Better than Subway or McDonald’s, same price, better quality. Excellent submarines we took the assorted one it was amazing! You should try the onion rings too, they offer a really, really crunchy crust. Overall was a good experience. The submarine was too good. I have the time to take a picture I highly recommend this place!

Morgan is an absolute pleasure to speak with on the phone, From the moment you placed your order until it’s handed off to you. It’s always a good experience. The food is consistent, delicious and worth cheating from my gluten-free/vegan diet! Parking is a little crazy, but I generally get delivery because I can’t really walk at the moment.

It was 25 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready and the dining room was so full I couldn’t hear the names being called because I’m a disabled veteran with hearing damage. I decided to leave and when attempting to let the people at the front know I didn’t want my food anymore, an older woman who worked there began yelling at me. It started escalating into a shouting match but a younger girl at the counter remained polite and professional, and when I saw her face I felt bad and just left. I cooked instead and actually saved some money.

I came back and tried to confront the woman, but she said I was being rude and shouting, then just shrugged when I told her she’s in the wrong business. I had planned on speaking to a manager, but honestly, if that’s the kind of employee you keep, I’d rather not bother.

I tipped the younger girl at the counter $10 and told her she should work somewhere better. If I was still a restaurant manager, I would’ve hired her on the spot as a hostess, I told her that and I absolutely meant it.

I’ll never, ever be back. I don’t need to overpay for food that’s just okay, and I definitely don’t need to deal with a bunch of attitude over it.

I asked the woman her name before leaving and she just smirked and said “I don’t have one!” You know what? You’re right. You’re another nameless person I never have to deal with again. Good riddance.

I happened to stop at Maria’s on my way back from the rez. Best pizza + wings I’ve had in a long time. It was exactly what I was looking for. All made perfect. Maria’s 11 miles from my house. 22 mile round trip well worth it. And today is Friday…hmmm

I ordered a small cheese and pepperoni pizza with banana peppers. If you look close, you don’t see paparoni. I also ordered a 20 oz of crush pop. Instead, I got a 2 l of crush. Pop worm. Next time I’ll buy somewhere else. I suggest everyone else probably should do the same.

Their pizza is good but they have a weird shady business practice of when you order a slice, they charge you like they are giving you two, like they are forcing you to buy two slices, if I come in and order two slices of pizza I don’t want to pay $15 for four slices

There is a generational magic at Maria’s Original. Last night we got a large pizza as I did when I lived two blocks away from Maria’s 50+ years ago. The “kid” working doing everything, is the founder’s grandson. He exuded passion, enthusiasm and pride in his pizza, the same as his grandparents did when they opened up their shop. And the pizza, unbelievably delicious and uniquely Maria’s. I’ve not lived in Btfd for decades but Maria’s pizza continues to be true to its roots and the best pizza in Canada.

I’ve been eating Maria’s since my days at Fredonia over ten years ago. Great Buffalo style pizza and a nostalgic favorite of mine. One of the Great unsung pizza spots for my money, if I got it had a location closer to the immediate Buffalo metro!

Another Google Maps gem. I really enjoyed this small pizza place while exploring Western New York. They have a 2 slice deal with a drink for $6.35. The pepperoni curl when they bake it and the sauce is great.

The stromboli ($10.95) took about 40 minutes to make on a Friday night when they were busy. The lady was nice in recommending the items to put in it because I had no idea. The thing was bigger than my forearm. Definitely enough for two people.

They take credit cards and have 3-4 tables inside along with a bar to stand and eat a couple of slices. In warmer weather they also have three wooden picnic tables outside.

Come and try it.
