This is a great restaurant. Went with my daughter and her boyfriend for dinner on a Wednesday night right around 5pm so they weren’t super busy at the time. It looks small from the outside but we were all surprised how spacious it was when we got inside. The staff was very welcoming we were greeted soon as we came in and we were seated fast. The waiter was very good, did a great job. For the three of us to eat plus the tip I spent 75 dollars. The food was really good and you get alot of food for the money. Altogether a great place and we will definitely be going back!

Food was outstanding, our service was a little off on our visit. Each meal was delivered to the table one at a time, with more than five minutes in-between. Once done the waitress rushed us to pay our bill, as if they needed the table with several other tables empty.
On a side note the only person that got chicken was Ill throughout the night.

I didn’t know what to expect, but I am happy we stopped here for lunch, before we headed back on pur 5 hour drive home! One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to! I had the chicken enchiladas, covered in cheese sauce. Chips were fresh and the salsa was awesome too! Then to top it off, our server was fantastic! If we ever head back this way, El Caballo will be our first stop.

Waited for 10 minutes to be seen by our waiter for our drink order. Then another to get the drinks and order (we only got 3 sweet teas so nothing crazy) then waited 15-20 minutes for our food 2 burritos and a kids chicken strips with fries. Then they forgot the kids food which i refused to eat till my son got his food.

Great food! So sad that I did not get to try a dessert because they were out of it. I had my work buddy try something new, which was horchata. He really liked it. The salsa was super good along with their spicy salsa. Our service was great.
We did have a little mix up with my buddies plate, but they were really quick on fixing the situation.

Had very good food here. The chips were the melt in your mouth kind. The salsa a very good flavor. Queso was delicious.
I ordered the Enchilada Vallarta. It was very good.
We were able to sit right away. Waitstaff was friendly and was patient with my Spanish pronunciation. Also courteous.
Restroom and dining area is clean. Not a new looking place.
The live music was ok although didn’t really fit in with the Mexican restaurant atmosphere.
Alcohol is available.
I would recommend this place.

We love this place! It was a busy, Friday night & our food came out faster than we expected. Hot & delicious! Can never go wrong with El Caballo! Great service & never feel rushed to order. My husband did ask for Verde AND Queso on his burrito but he was alright with it. Complete miscommunication I believe, only reason I gave 4 stars for service. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience! Keep up the good work ☺️

I have no complaints. The food is amazing, friendly staff and you never have to wait on refills. I highly recommend trying out the molcajete de oro! 9/10 would definitely reccomend.
