I went to Flippin’ Patties in the Energy Corridor after hearing so many rave reviews, but my experience was a bit disappointing. It may have just been an off night.
Once we sat down, we were served a small bowl of potato chips which were pretty bland. We ordered the lechon kawali as a warm up. It was very crispy, dry and lacking in flavor. The sauce tasted like a mix between balsamic dressing and brown gravy, but didn’t really help improve the taste of the pork belly. For entrees, we ordered the Flip ‘n Patties burger and the mini Kamayan. The burger itself was good, but the unexpected pickle (not listed on the menu) kind of ruined the burger for me. The mini kamayan arrived mostly lukewarm, and several of the meats were dry. The chicken pupu was decent, Tito Don’s BBQ tasted like a dry bbq brisket, the longganisa reminded me of a seasoned hamburger patty. I skipped the fliproll after my friend said it was bland.
The decor is very casual, the service was friendly and attentive, and parking was easy with a free lot.

I ordered the Flip’N Patties, Puet and Jeepney burgers with garlic fries and sweet potato tots. Everything from the fries to burger patties was under seasoned. The burger buns had no structural integrity and just fell apart. The halo halo is decent at best, the ice is very coarse and much prefer the texture of Bingsu ice over this. My dinner here was disappointing to say the least.

I know that it’s hard to go out and spend money these days but you will not regret coming out to Flip ‘n Patties. Amazing Filipino flavors and portion sizes that will fill you up. We had the burger with the lumpias. The Pupu Solo chicken bites are huge and then we got the Halo Halo dessert which was also huge and then found out that’s it was only the half portion. Try them out!

We had a last minute lumpia craving but it was like 8:50 and they close at 9. I gave them a call to inform that we just come to pick up the food and zoom out of there. Thr girl on the phone was so nice, she said to come in, we hurried over and got the hot lumpia, she even got us extra sauce to dip. The food was amazing, customer service was top notch. 100% recommend!!!!!

Great spot in our part of town. Fun and tasty fusion food. Come support this place! Great food, Good kids menu, and very friendly staff. If you’re not that adventurous at least come for the burgers. Fresh, juicy, and a satisfying! The buns make their burgers sooo satisfying. Support the small guys! Let’s see them thrive.

It was really excellent! My aunt was in town and I took her here. We sampled a little bit of everything. She loved the food just as much as I do! We got the Amboy Burger, Pupu chicken, beef empanadas, pork belly and the Ube egg rolls.

Travelled from Calgary, Alberta Canada. We wanted some Halo Halo .. but as soon as I could smell the garlic fried rice . It was game over. The portions were super large and food was amazing. I will be back as I was relocated to Houston for work . Great job guys for the food and size servings !!
