Filiberto’s is a great option for fast Mexican food. We enjoy their quesadillas, beans, horchata, ground beef hard shell tacos, and carnitas platter. Desserts are good. The restaurant is kept clean but also has a funky smell, which is a ding on atmosphere. But food is awesome.

I like to grab the Taco Tuesday special most weeks. It’s been rare I’ve actually had a normally cooked taco on this day. They’re either fried so that the beef is crispy like fried beef jerky inside (see the photo – it’s like this all the way through to the middle), or the shell is soggy and doesn’t crunch (which isn’t fun to bite through and try to rip a piece off).
I’ve never written a review before, but this has gotten so frustrating. I get 4 tacos for $10.35 and I could just go over to Taco Bell in the same complex and get edible food for less.
I used to bring my kids to this location nearly every week as they grew up and I only one time ever had a bad experience. They really enjoyed coming and having their weekly burrito and playing the games inside as we dined. They bring up those memories when we chat about their childhoods. It just makes me sad to see the quality difference I’ve gotten in recent times. I moved back to this neighborhood and was actually a little excited to be by this store again. Darn 🙁

My family calls this location “The World Famous Filiberto’s” the food is always hot and fresh, nachos are amazing and it just seems that the employees are putting their heart into preparing the food. For us this location is out of the way but well worth the extra few miles.

10 year customer here and definitely overpriced for the quality! I generally accept it for the breakfast, Cali or patron burritos, but tonight got the special, bean burrito. Added cheese to one for $2.20! Just to add cheese!!! Seems crazy high to me for a normal full burrito and definitely not for a smaller daily special! This isn’t $2.20 worth of cheese, and most things are overpriced anyway. I will definitely look for other places now.

I payed 16 or more dollars for a single plate last night I get to work and find a hair in my food. I’m not aloud to have my phone inside my work building so I waited till I got off to call. They told me the manager wasn’t there so I had to call back later and now they’re saying I can’t get a refund unless I still have the food FROM 12 HOURS AGO? Why would I keep some stinky hairy food for 12 hours. And the manager said I could have a discount on my next order.. why would I want to order from you guys again when you’re overpriced and the food is disgusting. The fact that they’re acting like a poor restaurant with their policy’s is sad when they charge an arm and a leg for some damn food. The worker last night was nice but the other few times I’ve been here they have been very rude so I don’t recommend coming here at all. That’s disgusting.

Just moved to Arizona last week and my daughter picked up food for us tonight. A competitor that we got Mexican food from the other night that was delicious and half the price was closed so we chose to try Filiberto’s. Very overpriced. $5 a taco and $3.40 for a fountain Drink is ridiculous. The beef tacos were ok but had an unusual taste to them. My daughter liked the chicken tacos. The green sauce was good.

I bought a meal . Taste less. Tortas special. Oh there was nothing special. No flavor on the meat. Mayo letter and a piece of I wanna say Carne asada soda and fries No gracias. Not worth sending $13.00 for tasteless food.

This location was alright the food was good and the store was clean but we also went at like 6am when a store should be clean and quiet but the food was good the portions where big and yes I would go back again this location is right next to my house so I come here every now and again so yeah I will definitely be going back to this location I like how clean it is inside and the staff is always nice to me ‼️

Hits the spot every time! Big fan. Long time Filiberto’s patron. Carne Asada Burrito and a Horchata with no ice to go please! Dining in is always a nice way to go to. The atmosphere here is welcoming and the service is fantastico! 5 STARS!!!!!
Don’t forget to tip the staff occasionally. A few bucks here and there goes a long way.
