When traveling or in the area this is my go to for a pastrami sandwich, I was in the way home and asked the Girls pastrami or Chinese, well . . The pastrami is huge! Made to order, onion rings are to die for, I was craving a steak sandwich so I ordered one, it was perfect!
I have eaten here several times over the years and never disappointed, chili cheese fries, burgers, the pastrami is awesome. Great breakfasts, omelets, comfort food, everything made to order. Prices have went up just like everything. Always happy, great food, recommended! Enjoy!

The nachos: the chips are super hard and cheese is the worst canned cheese you’ve ever had the misfortune to taste. I think I might be on to something here; if they can’t do nachos with cheese, then don’t trust them to do anything. Sad. Still, tip the staff. It’s not their fault.

I eat here pretty regularly seeing it’s one of the few joints that sells both breakfast and dinner. Not so impressed with dinner choices but the breakfast items are very good, especially the omelettes and breakfast burritos. Servers are very friendly, esp to regulars.

Tom’s Famous Burger is an absolute gem in Rosamond, and if you love good food, this is a spot you don’t want to miss. My family and I have been coming here for a while, and the changes they’ve made since last year have been amazing. The new manager has really elevated the whole experience, everything feels smoother, fresher, and more welcoming.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to make your visit enjoyable. The music is a solid mix, the space is clean, bright, and newly redone, and the atmosphere is perfect for families or anyone who just wants a relaxed, happy dining vibe.

Now, let’s talk food. Everything we’ve tried here has been outstanding. The burgers are juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The fries are fresh and crisp, and the toppings are generous. And the little surprises make it even better, did you know you can get Chiles Toreados here? I didn’t either at first, and I was beyond excited! That smoky, spicy flavor takes your meal to the next level and pairs perfectly with a burger. I’m hoping for menudo to be added soon lol.

Tom’s also nails the balance of quality and price. Everything feels fresh, made with care, and reasonably priced, which is rare these days. This place is hands down one of the best family-friendly spots in Rosamond, but it’s also a real treat for foodies who love exploring flavors and savoring every bite.

If you haven’t been yet, make a stop, you’ll leave full, happy, and probably already planning your next visit.

Good ol’ fashioned cozy diner as you the enter the Sierra Nevada highway. Hearty portions for a fair traveler price. Barely any wait time for our meal as a group of 5

2nd visit review:

Downgrading from 2 to 1 Star.
This place is horrible.
-One order was completely wrong
-another order was just slop
-the side of french fries seasoning we asked for was clumpy
-a third order had a nasty hair in it (photo)
-the fountain sodas are just nasty
(and I like RC Soda)
-dead flies and tons of dust in the window sills
-tables are greasy and nasty when you sit down
-a friend told me to avoid this place and I just did not listen.. Twice!

EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK. THIS PLACE -TOM’S #28 Rosamond IS HORRIBLE.

Please note: if you can find my review of Tom’s in Palmdale, you’ll see it’s a good review of five stars.

I’ve spent over $110 on two visits at this nasty Rosamond location.
No more. I tried. The first impressions are good but it’s pure filth behind the scenes. Done

1st visit review:
So disappointing….

Tom’s Famous Burgers is my new favorite place. Not particularly this #28 though.

I wanted to try something new but I got my usual Burger because I like it!

My reviews are most often all about service. I treat people well at my job so when I walk into a place I like to be treated well.

The Tom’s I usually go to is in Palmdale(I rated Tom’s in Palmdale 5-stars) but this one here is 20 minutes north, in Rosamond.

The food was good but I’ll sum it up like this because it’s not just this Tom’s, it’s most of the chain food places in Rosamond.

If anyone visiting Rosamond wants a good meal and friendly service, try one of the family-owned places off the main boulevard. Good food, great people, and friendly services.

Tom’s #28 gives that vibe but the people there are miserable.

-People of Rosamond.., everyone works. Everyone I know anyway, we all have to work.

If you’re miserable at your job just don’t show up …And to the Little Miss who’s going to roll her eyes every time she shows up to the table,.. just don’t show up to the table. Every one of us there can fend for ourselves. Take your attitude elsewhere.

… And because of how my food showed up there’s a little effort going on in the kitchen.

To top off, I left money on the table mostly for the gentleman clearing the tables. He’s the only person I found who had any manners.

As I passed my table looking through the window from the outside there was a kid about 11 or 12 looking at where the money I left was but the money was gone.

My family and I were thinking about making this our Saturday morning regular stop. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody. ESPECIALLY family or friends. Barely 2 stars

If I could vote it lower I would. I’ve tried this place twice and both times were a major disappointment especially for the price. The zucchini fries are tasteless goo, the burger is mid the sandwich I could make better for cheaper at the grocery outlet nextdoor. The gyro I had last time was just gross. I was hungry walking in. I’m disgusted and have no appetite walking out. Biggest waste of money this month.

Driving through Rosamond and was hungry for lunch, pulled off Rosamond blvd and saw the usual, McDonald’s, Jack in the box and Taco Bell, tired of them. Looked across the street and saw Tom’s Famous Burgers, never been there.
I ordered the double cheese burger combo. WOW, was it great, hot, fresh and delicious, way better than you would expect. Say goodbye to the other places and stop here!

Menu (extensive) and food quality is definitely a cut above “fast food” . . e.g. Rib eye on menu! Prices very reasonable!
