They have some great flavor choices. I got the tropical with 3 flavors and Haupia cream drizzle. Underneath the fluffy shaved ice was vanilla ice cream with macadamia nuts and mochi. A fantastic mix. We also got pineapple with coconut. May go again today. It’s great to support local businesses. This one is the first one on the island.

I had the tropical breeze flavor, which had vanilla ice cream layered underneath. This was the best shave ice I’ve had on the island thus far. The small is definitely big enough for an adult. Very refreshing treat after hiking in the state parks all day. No bathroom on site. Street parking available. No line at about 4pm.

Wow. Is this what shave ice is supposed to taste like?! 10x better than mainland shave ice. Price is $8-$10 which is very reasonable in my opinion. There is an ice cream base, shave ice, syrup and then a drizzle on top. Super yummy. I am not usually a shave ice fan and this was delicious.

Our favorite shave ice place we visited in Kauai (and we tried a lot). We liked it so much we came back to this same spot twice during our short stay because nowhere else could beat it! Highly recommend to anyone visiting this part of Kauai or on their way back from Waimea canyon!

This place is quite popular as it is on a main roadway. There are many menu choices for the ever popular shaved ice dessert that Hawaii is so well known for. I do recommend you opt for the added Macadamia nuts. Adds a nice crunch to the bowl. The bottom has a scoop of vanilla ice cream that goes so perfectly with the entire creation. This is great way to spoil yourself.

We love Jojos! We first tried the Waimea location after hiking in the canyon. Perfect treat, the kids fell in love with it so we were happy to see they had other locations we could visit. Great flavors and great value. We like that they didn’t charge extra for the ice cream and topping/snowcap

JoJo’s Shave Ice is a must-visit after exploring Kokee and Waimea Canyon State Parks! They have an extensive selection of flavors, and since our group of five each got something different, it was great to see that everyone loved their choice. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the covered outdoor seating made for a comfortable and relaxing spot to enjoy our treats.
