Social Profile:

OPEN 6 Days a week (Closed Mondays) . We are a European/American Bakery, and Pizzeria making delectable Italian food, pastries and desserts. Our inspiration comes from the culinary traditions of several Alpine countries: Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Although we did not stop there. We have allowed classic American flavors and original proprietary ideas to permeate those European recipes in order to create our own Alpine Bakery way. We have two retail locations CRABAPPLE & WOODSTOCK, GA and a WHOLESALE DIVISION (ALPINE BAKERS INC.) Our Woodstock Location is also home to THE CUSTOM CAKE STUDIO at ALPINE BAKERY.

I hadn’t seen this type of excellence in pastries , in a very long time combined with traditional flavors. I was so surprised that they even had gluten , free and sugar free options. If you’re looking for classic new york quality italian desserts , this bakery is definitely for you!! There is a wait and you have to take a number. But the customer service that I received there was very , very good.

My first time here was a treat and made me wonder why it was my first time here.

The ordering system is a bit confusing at first, but makes sense as you get a dedicated person that lets you walk down the display case and pick things out. The staff is very helpful.

Everything is homemade and perfectly executed. The temperatures of each item are perfect. The textures. Truly a treat. Will be back.

For our anniversary, my husband suggested we do a “bakery tour” and splurge on local pastries and baked goods. I was all in! Living in New York has spoiled me, when it comes to bakeries of all ethnicities. Bakeries in this area don’t seem to be quite as plentiful, but, fortunately, we found Alpine Bakery! As soon as we walked in, I felt like I was back in New York. Cakes, cookies, pastries of all kinds, and they even had cannoli’s! The temptation to get one of everything was real, but we controlled ourselves and settled on some cookies (chocolate espresso sandwich, double mint with sprinkles, and lemon drop), a couple of cannoli’s, a cream cheese filled chocolate eclair, a giant mocha/caramel cupcake, and a giant cinnamon bun (which is not pictured because it was the first thing my husband ate). Everything was worth the extra calories! To be fair, we did not eat everything all in one day, but we very easily could have. Their prices are very reasonable ($25 total) and the staff is great – we will be regular customers from here-on-in!

An absolute gem! Alpine Bakery never disappoints—excellent cakes that are beautifully made and incredibly delicious, excellent coffee that pairs perfectly with any dessert, and an excellent staff that is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The service is consistently top-notch, making every visit a pleasure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality, flavor, and great customer care.

Get the calzone! Omg, no small portions here. The Alpine Bakery makes the best calzone in Atlanta. They are the equivalent of a large pizza folded in half. So delicious. My wife got the fried ravioli and they were delightful. Tasted like the very best fried cheese you’ve ever eaten.

Outside of the amazing tasting pastries and delicious food. We were assisted by Austin who was very attentive and eager to help. This was our first time visiting but because of the great service and recommendations will definitely be coming back.

The red velvet cake I purchased was completely unacceptable. The layers were separating at the seams, the icing was falling off, and the consistency of the cake itself was completely off—not at all like a normal red velvet cake. It was impossible to serve and ended up being a total waste of money. This should never have been sold.

My buddy recommended coming here and giving it a try so my wife and I did just that. When you walk in it can be a bit confusing at first but grab a number and wait till it is called. If one wants to dine in still grab a number because you have to place your order at the front. Once you place your order, they will give you a number to place on your table.
We ordered cheese sticks, cheese pizza and a Stromboli (forgot to take a picture of it). The pizza wasn’t that bad, it is a bit soggy near the tip and middle but the near the crust and the actual crust was amazing. I ordered the cheese sticks extra crispy because my buddy told me when he orders them, at times the cheese is cold which ordering them extra crispy was the right option.
We also ordered some deserts which they are not overly sweet and tasted pretty good. The crowds come and go which a lot of people just picked up their orders or placed them to go.
Also, they don’t have a fountain drinks so be ready to pay an over priced soda.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience and do recommend coming in and trying their food.

What an amazing array of desserts!!

We stopped by tonight after dinner just for dessert. We were also scoping out the place for possible holiday goodies for a party we’re hosting. The amount of choices was really amazing!

It wasn’t super busy but we took a number and only waited a few minutes to be waited on. They had plenty of people working and served up our order very quickly.

I had cheesecake and my wife had an Italian cake. Both desserts were excellent!!

Alpine Bakery in Crabapple is one of our go-to spots for desserts and treats. The Million Dollar Cake, Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse Cake, and Red Velvet are all outstanding, and their pies, especially Rustic Apple, Chocolate Pecan, and Key Lime, are always a hit. We get the pumpkin and pecan pies every Thanksgiving from here. We also pick up their cookies for the holidays; they’re perfect for gifting.

You really can’t go wrong with the apple strudel or Crumb Bun Apple with a freshly brewed coffee. Their savory options like the white pizza, calzone, and fried ravioli are great too. Everything is consistently fresh and delicious and worth the splurge.
