So I tried the fried pickles and asked for extra crispy but instead they weren’t even a regular crispy they were soggy and the breading was tearing off
Tried the hot dogs but the chili did not taste fresh but the hot dogs were alright
The fries were good and fresh I did enjoy those
The burger was pretty good wasn’t too much just a regular burger
Honestly it is cheaper end of things but I give it a 4/10
I just had what might be the best hotdog in the world at Pete’s — and I don’t say that lightly.
From the very first bite, the hotdog had that perfect snap you only get from quality ingredients and expert preparation. It was topped with rich, homemade chili that hit all the right notes , savory, a little sweet and full of flavor. The fries? Absolutely spot-on: crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and served with a golden onion ring perched right on top, which was a fun and tasty surprise.
To top it all off, the sweet, homemade coleslaw was the perfect balance to the meal — fresh, creamy, and just the right amount of tangy sweetness.
Pete’s is exactly what you hope for in a family-owned, mom-and-pop spot: warm, welcoming, and serving up comfort food that’s made with care. It’s officially my go-to restaurant. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in , the staff will make you feel right at home everyone is so nice, I just moved here 11 months ago and this is my go to spot for now on
Terribly disappointed in service and the food. Calabasas chicken was reg chicken tenders that were wayy overcooked and dry. Baked potatoe wasnt even jot enough to melt the butter. Never got the Texas toast For our meals and had to ask for the dressing with our salads.
