I ordered the corned beef reuban with tots. I don’t go out of my way to write reviews, but that’s how bad this sandwich is. I was craving a good reuban and almost went to Arby’s for one, but I figured it’d be higher caliber at an actual restaurant – this place is locally cherished for their breakfast, so I didn’t think it was possible to have a reuban worse than Arby’s, but I honestly don’t think it gets worse than this. The bread, although toasted well, tasted super sweet – probably due to pancakes being made in the same section of the griddle previously ♀️ the meat was very thinly sliced, so I’m assuming it’s processed/pre-packaged. Should have a thicker carved cut, which stays juicier. It had no taste it was just rubbery. There was barely any sauerkraut, gotta have that kraut man. $15 OTD and can’t even finish it. They offer an omelette version of their reuban, but based on this sandwich I can’t endorse either. I recommend they get better quality meat, or make their corned beef/kraut in-house with a carved cut and an increased kraut ratio; cooked on a part of the griddle dedicated to savory items. St. Patrick’s day is approaching, so that could be a good opportunity for them to promote a better quality version if they wanna test stepping it up. I do appreciate them taking my order 30mins before they closed; it was done in about 15 minutes – staff is friendly. Not sure if they offer a bloody Mary or mimosa bar, but that’d be cool.

You seat yourself, and there were quite a few tables empty when we walked in. It’s a really cute, comfortable place. We were waited on quickly and he was really nice. They have a great menu and the food was good. I have to go again, because I’ve seen a couple other things I would like to order!!

We had a great breakfast at The Rooster’s Call. Our server Marc was attentive and kind. They had a new special called the cheeseburger omelette that had ketchup, mustard, and pickles – I decided to be a little adventurous and I’m glad I did. It was delicious!

Such a wholesome place, heartwarming people who are so kind and so fun to chat with. Never had a bad experience here, food is top quality and made with love!! Try getting a waffle with side of chicken strips and gravy!

RC Gull Road is pretty close to home, so we frequent it often! The food is fantastic (banana bread French toast, need I say more!) & the staff is great, especially Alisa!

Our breakfast was very tasty & served very quick. The waitress Erin was very friendly & helpful. Manager and Chef Ian was great too! He checked to make sure our food was good & was fun to chat with. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast experience!

FINALLY, I finally found a restaurant/diner that can perfectly do an over medium egg!!!
Ordered the keto plate (side bagel for a cheat was the best I’ve had in a while) and it was simply incredible.

This has been my go-to lunch spot for a good couple of years at this point – the food is delicious (try the poutine! It’s got tater tots in it), the staff is always friendly and quick (you rock Alisa!), and prices are very reasonable. And they bring out your food quick, too! Overall one of my favorite places to eat in town.

I love it when they take an old Pizza Hut building and make it into a fresh new restaurant. The food was very flavorful and inventive. I had the Ruben Omelet and I was not aware that I was missing it from my life until then. Service is a bit slow, but it’s worth it. I would go back.
