Always looking for a good Mexican restaurant, but unfortunately this one fell short. Service was very good and atmosphere was nice. Food on the other hand was just average. Empanadas were a bit dry with not much flavor. Fish tacos were okay, I’ve had much better, and my husband had the burrito which again, was just okay. I have never been to a Mexican place that does not have refried beans, which was odd. Rice and beans are usually a main staple with meals, but not here.

Ordered for the first and last time. Tacos came smooshed together (there are 2 tacos on the picture), which would have been fine if food was good. Al pastor didn’t have any sweetness, were overly salty. Quesabirria was called inside and lacked much flavor.

I ordered steak tacos from there and I get my order and its just soft taco wrap and steak. Nothing else. Like how u gonna charge me 20 dollars and they idnt even give me any sour cream. I had to go back to a different store. And they gave me some green sauce and onions on the side, like thats not stuff you even put in a taco.

This was my husband’s and my first time dining at Tacos El Tio, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The ambiance was great and made the meal even more enjoyable. Our waiter, Evan, was incredibly accommodating and friendly from the moment we sat down. He gave great suggestions on the top entrées, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Second time here. Enjoyable setting. Food was fine. Unfortunately when dinner arrived I was burned by a too hot skillet fajita plate. Really unnecessary to use these hot skillets you can’t maneuver on the table. No one bothered to follow-up after taking my information. No concern for patrons, no need to return and do business with them.
