A true gem. An actual Italian market with decent cheese, meats and baked goods! Had to bring some cutlets and seeded rolls home for later!

A classic Italian delicatessen in all the best ways possible. They got the Salume and various other delicacies you’re looking for from the old country. They got a great bakery, and all the rest of the prepared food is good too. And everyone there really takes the time and makes the effort to get to know the customers and make you feel welcome. You wanna know what though? The tomato pie, fo’gettaboutit, uhh. I’ll take theirs over any other in the county. Only one I ever had better was my own grandmother’s. I live right around the corner from the place probably most famous in all of Montgomery and the surrounding counties, but I still go to Altomonte’s and get theirs whenever I really, really want one.

Smaller size Italian market…has alittle bit of everything.
Food is good!
Frozen/Fresh section:
Meatballs/Turkey are pretty good for store bought. Sometimes they can be a bit salty.
Meats and pasta are good!
Deli section:
Good! However, the pricing is somewhat high compared to others. But, if quality is important in some cases, then that is what you are paying for.
Tomato pie/Bread:
Very good/tasty!
Pastries: very good!
I only wish, this store would be like the one they have in Doylestown in size and selections. More offered and the food, including pizza, so much better.

What a cute little Italian deli & market!
Great for a fresh lunch and a grab and go. I’ve been able to pick up a few homemade sauces and pistachio pastas to craft some delightful dinners with the girlfriend at home.
They have a lot of dessert options, cakes and custom cookies. Has a lunch ordering tablet not dissimilar from a Wawa, but with fresh cut ingredients.
Plan to place a few orders when our team hokiday parties begin. Highly recommend!

My brother picked me up a large Italian old school today and WOW. This is hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had! 10/10 can’t wait to stop in here soon! This place is a MUST!

This place overall was okay. The pastry I bought was delicious. I also purchased a hoagie. I asked for oil and vinegar on the side but didn’t get it. Our order also sat behind the counter and we had to ask for it. It seemed scattered in this area. The next time we are in the area we are going to try a different market/bakery.

Great local spot with a lot of character. The staff at the Deli Market were super friendly and helpful, and the store was clean and well-organized. Their sandwiches were fresh and generously portioned, and I liked that they had a good mix of classic deli items and unique snacks. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Definitely a place I’d stop by again if I’m in the area.

Great deli, butcher and bakery. Recently the catering dept went above and beyond to provide delicious sandwich trays for our family during a difficult time with little notice. Food is amazing and so are the people.

Here’s the latest score from Altamonte’s! I dig this place and I’m positive once you walk through the doors and see the selection, you’ll dig it too. Oh yeah, their bags are insulated as well. Just one more way Altamonte’s goes out of their way to ensure customers have a great experience.
Thanks Altamonte’s, YOU ROCK!

A few years ago I had a bad experience that I did a review. Now here we are two years later and I decided to give it another try. I ordered a pizza steak which I always ordered in the past and now the menu has been changed. Now you need to order a cheesesteak with mozzarella and sauce which I think may be an extra cost. It was hard to tell since the recipe isn’t broken down. My wife always ordered an Italian chicken steak which had roasted red peppers and broccoli or long hots. Now you need to order the chicken steak and everything else is extra cost. The two sandwiches were over $32 and when they came out my wife’s sandwich was a steak not chicken. Both of the steaks were chunky and chewy from the Family fatty meat. I guess we have to wait until Steve’s opens in Warrington. I don’t know what happened to Altomontes.
