Met a friend this morning for breakfast at First Watch in Crestview Hills. One of my favorite seasonal items is their pumpkin pancakes, and they did not disappoint! I ordered the pumpkin pancake platter, which came with two eggs, two chicken sausage patties, and one pumpkin pancake. The portion size was just right, and the flavors together were excellent—definitely a highlight of their fall menu.
That said, I do feel like First Watch has gotten quite expensive over the past few years. Even with a coupon that made one of our meals free, our total was still $28 before tip for two entrées and coffee. For breakfast, that feels pricey, especially when comparable chain restaurants offer similar options for less.
Still, I enjoy coming here once or twice a year as a treat. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service is good, and the pumpkin pancake in particular makes the trip worthwhile. It’s definitely a standout seasonal item that I look forward to every

I went on Valentines Saturday by myself, hoping I could get in. I was told I could take a seat at the community table if I wanted to, or wait 30-45 minutes for a table. I took a seat at the community table, and had a wonderful time! The food, the seasonal B.E.C. was very good. Well prepared on very nice sourdough bread. My server, Erica, was very nice and attentive. I had asked to leave on of the aioli’s out of the sandwich. She couldn’t remember which one, so she gave all of the on the side, making sure I had what I needed.
I met some very nice people and had good conversations while eating lunch. I will definitely come back and recommend this First Watch to others!

First Watch without a doubt is never a disappointment when it comes to food, but at the Crestview hills, Ky, 41071 location, the server went above and beyond to make sure my meal was perfect. Had the shrimp & grits that were excellent. Also because I was feeling very hungry had the million dollar potatoes, 2 eggs over medium, a plate of bacon, and a lavender lemonade for a drink. Troy if you are reading this, you are an amazing server and definitely have the gift of being a people person. Thank you for taking care of me after my long shift at work.

The seasonal menu items were phenomenal. I tried both the chimichurri steak and eggs hash and the strawberry tres leches French toast. For a savory option, the steak and eggs was wonderful and I highly suggest them. Our server was also very pleasant and around enough to be helpful but not too much as to be annoying. Great overall experience and will come again.

I had family visiting from another country and we went to have breakfast with my brother. A few people waiting and they told us a 25 minute wait (normal for a weekend). We saw empty tables, people coming and going. People that came much later than us being seated so I asked about us (after a 30 minute wait). They scrolled through their iPad several times and found my name, said we were close “just 14 more minutes”.
We waited an extra 15 minutes and told them I was leaving. They offered to accommodate us immediately but the damage was done and they lost a customer for life.

This place seriously has the best French toast I’ve ever had. The strawberry tres leches is crazy good—sweet, soft, and just melts in your mouth. And if you’re into refreshing drinks, the Watermelon Wake-Up is a game changer. Everything hit the spot. Definitely coming back!
