Tucked away at the popular location of 8 E Second St sits Pelican’s Perch Bar & Grill. Take a step inside and you’ll be greeted by a friendly member of our Perch Family. As you find your way to the most comfy seat in the house, you’ll hear the laughter of family and friends as they gather, as well as cheers from sports fans as they watch their big game. When you pick up the menu, you’ll notice that we’ve changed things up a bit since your last visit. Thanks to our ability to obtain locally sourced products, we are now able to offer even more homemade menu items. From our hand rolled Jalapeño Mozzarella Balls to our amazing Bangin’ OIB Sauce, we put love and care into it all.

We sat outside with our pup. Service was fast, our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic! We had the hush puppies with honey butter as an appetizer, a blackened shrimp salad and a blackened haddock sandwich. All were so delicious! I highly recommend!!!

We decided to go here because it was right across the street from the coastal museum and our kids were starving. We should have looked around more.
The people/service was nice enough but all of our food was just bad. We got fried pickles as an appetizer and they were so salty they were inedible. My daughter got Mac and cheese, it was very soggy pasta with some cheese sprinkled on top in the smallest cup. My husband got the “Shrimp boil” it was just unseasoned unpeeled shrimp, a plain unseasoned baked potatoe, hard hushpuppies and unseasoned corn. My ahi ahi tacos were small and flavorless. My favorite part were my cold tortilla chips that I got like 5 of.
My sister got the burger which smelled kinda funny and the fries tasted exactly like the great value seasoned fries microwaved.
I hate to give this “restaurant” this kind of power but it really put a damper on our beach vacation. We went on our last day here and it has been the only place besides chil-fil-a we let ourselves eat out at and the chik-fil-a was more than half the price and the food was 100Xs better. Everything was over $100.
I would never reccommed this place. And never come back.

There was a bit of a wait due to busyness but we enjoyed the park while we waited. Once we got there the service was friendly and we quickly got our food. The notable mentions of those in my group were the pelican dip cheese steak and the fries which were both very good. The picture shows the BYO burger and the Mac and Cheese which were alright but nothing special.

My buddy and I stopped into this lovely place on 11/24/25. We had the pleasure of having Tessa as our bartender. My buddy and I like to joke around and have a good time and she was a lot of fun and we had a lot of laughs. We ordered three different things off the menu. We had the banana peppers that were fried like calamari, the crab balls, and pelican bites. The food was outstanding. Definitely much better than expected for a bar environment.
It’s less than three minutes from the beach and like a one minute walk to the water. Definitely worth a visit if you’re down in this area. We will be back again.
The waitress walking around was a very nice young woman and on the way out we had a small conversation with her and she was an absolute sweetheart. It’s nice that they’re still places like this around.!!!!!!!!

Delicious food!! The OIB Tacos are amazing but do have a tiny bit of heat. The haddock is also delicious. The staff is great as well. They were more than willing to modify the nachos for her.

Service and food were great! We went to two other restaurants that had 2 hr wait, this place got us seated within 10 minutes and we were acknowledged by the waitress immediately. Our drinks and appetizers came out quickly (we had the Pelican bites) and our meals followed shortly thereafter. Our party had chicken tenders and fries, shrimp quesadillas, OIB shrimp tacos with spicy slaw (must try), fried shrimp, and the Pelican dip.
