TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Wow! This is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I also love that you can adjust the level of spiciness. With coleslaw and pickles inside the burger, it stays refreshing until the very last bite. The brioche bun is soft and delicious too.
The store’s interior is bright, filled with fun and colorful graffiti that creates a lively, cheerful vibe. There are plenty of tables, so you can sit comfortably and enjoy your meal.
Even as I’m writing this, I’m craving it again! Highly recommend!

I love the chicken, so tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. I usually get the mild and that’s plenty hot for me. My husband ordered the medium and he thought it was just right for hotness. The milkshakes are good. We like plain fries and those are crispy. Staff has always been friendly. We go about once a month. I feel that Food opinions are personal for each individual so go give it a try!!!

I don’t like the loaded fries, the chicken was great, crispy and moist, but the coleslaw made the fries mushy, and it was just too salty. I got medium but I couldn’t even tell it was supposed to be spicy, it didn’t even make my lips worm or tingle.

I finally got to try this place! I ordered the Dave’s #2, and it came with two sliders and fries. The sliders were pretty big, with fresh buns and fries. One slider is enough for one person. I also ordered the top-loaded Oreo shake, and it’s probably one of the best Oreo shakes I’ve ever had. It was nice and clean, and the atmosphere was great. Aman, I think her name was, was really good. She was patient, welcoming, and helpful since it was my first time there. Overall, it was a great experience.

The night time manager on this day has the best customer service. I seen him go to the back to help the crew instead of yelling I need my order like most fast food restaurants. This shows great hospitality. I do blogs on restaurants and this guy here showed me a different side of leadership in the hospitality industry. I will be tell all my friends and family especially the Hospitality organization I am a part of that they have to come here!! I recently visited Dave’s Hot Chicken, and while it wasn’t very busy that day, the way the food was packed was disappointing—messy and unappealing, as if it had been shaken up during a long off-road drive. Since we dined in, I expected better presentation and cleanliness.
The food was spicier than I anticipated, and I suspect there might have been a misunderstanding with my order or a mistake in preparation. I can handle spicy food, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but for anyone with low spice tolerance, this could be a problem.
Additionally, the floors near the washroom seemed perpetually slippery .Overall, the food was okay, but they could improve on order accuracy, packing, and cleanliness.
