Burritos Victoria, decor: authentico. Atmosphere: delightful, I was serenaded by an old man crooning songs from the old country. Service: impeccable. They seated my part of 7 an hour before they closed with kindness and care. And last but certainly not least the food: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My burrito was delicious and the charro beans were very good and satisfying. The salsa bar provided variety and flavor that was beyond all my wildest expectations.
I’ve read some of these negative reviews and I can see how the dumb and illiterate would struggle to appreciate an authentic culinary experience. And going through a drive thru is the cowards way to survive late stage capitalism.

So I’ve been coming here for quite some time due to work and each time I try something different.
The restaurant itself is great, the location, could be better, but have never had any trouble inside. Service has been excellent, friendly waitresses, and they’re pretty prompt. So no complaints there.
The food: mind you each plate is about $10+ but it is a lot of food. While comparing to fast food restaurants nowadays where everything is also $10+, I’d rather have this. With that being said, the food has been incredible. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, not New Mexican food, there’s a difference, you must come here. The rice, beans, and handmade tortillas have been great. The menudo/posole is nothing to complain about, tacos are good, and so has everything else.
The star of the show, personally to me, is their mega burrito. It’s about $14 but I call it the 5 day burrito, since it can literally feed you for 5 days. Them bringing it out, I thought they brought a full freshly caught salmon, wrapped it in foil and put it on a plate. I was shocked at how ginourmous this thing was. It literally has a full Mexican dinner wrapped up inside of it. It has your choice of meat, rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, weenie, mayonnaise, the past, present and future wrapped up in one giant tortilla. It won’t disappoint.
Oh and not to mention inside they have a full salsa bar. So all in all, would recommend this place over many others.

I used to love this place. The food was great and filling. Now it’s terrible. I got half of a normal burrito anywhere else in Las Cruces. It was a four bite burrito for $8. I also sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes watching every server chat and use their phones while I waited. Be aware that they take your payment and hold your change or card until they give you your food. This can take as much time as it takes for your food to be ready and that can take forever. I have never seen it take 10-15 minutes to make a relleno burrito. I would understand it but again I watched 3 servers sitting around talking and using their phones, so the place definitely wasn’t busy at all. Also my burrito had a torn tortilla, it was a sad sad burrito.

It wasn’t a relleno per se it was burnt egg with a crunchy green chile thrown in top with globs of mozzarella I guess is what it is …maybe a half teaspoon of beans for $9.

Repeated my order numerous times at the speaker (2 items) waited for a good amount of time just for them to come to window to ask me what I ordered. What’s the point of ordering at speaker if I still had to order at the window and not only to one person because the lady didn’t speak English and had to go find someone ,and I had to repeat my order again. I wasn’t going to wait even longer and repeat myself again so I told the lady never mind on making it now and she slammed the window in my face so I drove off. Apparently I didn’t miss anything by reading other reviews.

Was in the search for a Good homemade style Menudo. Got the suggestion to visit here and to my surprise extremely disappointed on their menudo. Super watered down and a weird aftertaste not really happy about that.
The chips and salsa are much better than the menudo. horchata water was delicious. And really amazing customer services. Waitress super nice and polite.

Their sirloin steak burritos are good, but don’t order a coffee to go they are overpriced and taste like crap. Plus they’ll give them to you in the same cup as an agua “fresca”. The fries are SUBPAR but then again most Mexican restaurants fries suck so I can’t knock them as much because at least they cook their fries. Even though frozen fries you make at home taste better. And If you make fries at home and cut the potatoes yourself then even better, but yeah the only thing I recommend is their sirloin steak burritos.

Awful time we weren’t attended to didn’t get half out order till we asked for it. Wrong order couldn’t get it fixed. The waitress never attempted to serve us the food over cooked and when needed to use the restroom a combination lock had to go across the street to use it.
