The lentil salad was unique and tasty. The garlic knot meatball sliders were amazing, were bigger than I expected and such a good idea. The wings had a great flavor and were so tender they practically melt in your mouth. Honestly some of the best wings I’ve ever had.
The pizza is true Neapolitan style dough. Robust yet soft with the right amount of char. The flavors of the spring chick were excellent. The quality of the pizza was something I would expect from a fancy white tablecloth Italian Ristorante, a pleasant surprise for a place with ping pong tables.
We finished with an Oreo sundae. All in all it ticks every box. The cocktails were tasty, the staff were friendly, the ambiance is lovely. It’s a great place to take the family, meet up with friends, or go on a date.
The service was excellent, meeting our needs and bringing some humor to the table. We were served quickly and food was hot. We had an enjoyable time and I can see why this place is popular!
Went here to see Ghost Funk Orchestra…they absolutely killed it and you should see them the next time they come through!
The stage and audience area is in the back of the restaurant and it is absolutely tiny, but that’s part of what makes it fun. This is one of these places you go to see bands that are solidly on their way but still humble enough to play small venues. Openers are frequently local and vary in talent and quality. The sound people had some trouble getting the balance right on vocals versus instruments, but I don’t know if that is the venue’s issue of the band’s. Be forewarned that small stage does not equal less volume; it was very loud and I was grateful for my Eargasm earplugs.
Bar service was friendly. The beer list is solid and reps the DMV properly. As for food… skip the late night bar snacks unless you’re really hurting for food like we were. It’s prepared well in advance so you’re going to get something at room temp (or cold). I could tell that it would be good fresh, though, so next time we come here for a concert, we’ll come early to get some pizza.
