I came thru the drive thru and ordered a chicken tender combo. I told the cashier I wanted my tenders to be fresh. I asked the guy at window was my tenders cooked fresh and his reply was ” No , but they are hot” My food was cold and the tenders were so tiny you could not even feed a a baby. I called them over the phone and no one would answer for to line being long. This location locks their doors very early and has the worst customer service ever. The managers have horrible attitudes and so I can see why the staff is horrible. I got back in line and told the guy I had no napkins in my back and they are always out of hot sauce and honey and the tenders are cold and he that he forgot to give me my receipt.He looked at me and rolled his eyes and closed the window. I told the manger the issue and she also had an attitude and when I asked for store manager name she refuse to give it and asked me in a rude tone what did I order and practically threw my the receipt I told her I was going to report them and contact fox 6 on your side and she slammed the window. This is the most horrible popeyes in birmingham and need to be shutdown. Whoever the owner of this location is needs to be aware that he or she has the worst staff in america. I will find out who owns this popeyes and get them reported. People need to post their reviews to draw attention. They are going to end up acy getting shutdown just like Applebee’s if they don’t get their act together. I will say poor customer service and quality will e put you eventually in a bad financial state and that’s where they are headed.if they were in Mountain Brook, Vestavia or Hoover they would not dare carry on this type of behavior.This is absolutely the worst popeyes ever. I am pissed off because I love the chicken but I don’t like the people running. They need new staff that cares about their customers. People want good food and quality if they go home and not feel like cooking….NOT BAD ATTITUDES AND POOR MANAGEMENT. I’m going to the News on them and I wish everyone would report them and stop going to this location. Just maybe they will get their act together

Ordered a family meal today! In my order I requested 2 wings, 3 thighs and 3 legs for the 8 pcs meal. I got 2 breasts, 2 thighs and 4 wings. I tried to call several times and they would not answer the phone. So in the app you have the opportunity to submit a complaint thru the virtual assist. It generated a compliant and told me to take picture. I did and then it told me that I did not take that picture and it closed my compliant. Nothing is worse than your order being wrong, and then a computer telling you what you did or did not do and makes it a closed case. So needless to say my dinner was not good to me. I very seldom do reviews; but when I do you, better know that I have been wronged! These restaurants need to adhere to the principle of give me what I pay for! Not give me what you want me to have! When any business get that concept we will all get along. Business will boom and everyone will be happy!

My mom and I placed a mobile order for pickup at 4:45pm. She arrived and was told that they were out of the shrimp amd would have to request a refund on the app, that’s ok, we get that part. It took 30mins to get the “rest” of the order. Upon getting home and unpacking it they did not have the two large sides, and the buns on the fish sandwiches where rock hard.
We have tried to give this place a few different chances but something is always screwed up. Their attitudes are less tobe desirable as well.
After reading several reviews I have noticed the owner has replied basically saying that’s not what they expect of their works but seeing as how it has not changed, I firmly feel it never will. Strong suggestion is clean house of the current workers. ♀️
Let’s not forget that some of the order was placed in a burger king bag.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my experience at this Popeyes location on the evening of January 12, 2026 while using the drive-through.
When I arrived at the window, the employee assisting me—a young woman with grayish-white hair—was actively using her personal cell phone. After she provided the total and I handed her my credit card, she started texting on her phone while in the possession of my card. This made me feel very uncomfortable.
I respectfully asked whether she had texted my number or used my card information in any way. She stated that she had not, I am unsure of what she texted, but the situation itself was highly unprofessional. Using a personal phone or texting while handling a customer’s credit card raises serious concerns about professionalism, focus, and customer trust.
I expect better standards of conduct, especially when it involves payment security. I hope management will address this matter to ensure customers feel safe and respected during their transactions.

The customer service, for the second time, was very poor. Nobody was rushing for their food or being disrespectful in the lobby. It was actually quiet and peaceful. The older lady working the front was understandably overwhelmed, as she was the only person working the lobby and online orders. Unprovoked, she was disrespectful and nasty to the patrons who were patiently waiting. I totally understand being overwhelmed, but there are many more professional ways to handle a high volume of customers. I have been in her shoes before, especially as a former manager in retail with a short staff. Customer service goes a very long way and that’s how you maintain repeat customers. This basic concept is absent at this location. If you’re having a bad day already, do not patronize this location.

Im leaving this place right now! Very unprofessional and unsanitary. The drive through was horrible, the lady begged us to come inside instead. Once I got inside the service was horrible, not a glove in sight. The lady at the register had on a mask, and evertime she coughed the pulled the mask down. The drive through lady went to the restroom and did not wash her hands. Stop going here! They are in desperate need of new management.

By far the worst location to order from. Can’t never do anything right. Employees always have nasty attitudes. I ordered through door dash wait time took so long the driver reassigned to another driver. Still waited even longer just to be told items were unavailable and cancelled my ordered. Just shutdown or get new staffing.

Walked in with a positive attitude. I said
Good morning the guy with the locs just looked at me. Didn’t say anything. Didn’t b even get acknowledged when I came to the front. I had to wait 10 Minutes before someone even noticed me. I had to ask a customer “did they get you” because of any acknowledgement. I understand its a Sunday I understand its busy but it takes one moment just one to day hello give ne a minute will be right with you. If you don’t v want to work DON’T COME.
