Food was great and tasty. Just came down to Bellingham from Vancouver to do some Christmas shopping and stop by here. Haven’t been for a while, but glad to come by and taste some yummy food. Everything was great except one small thing the salmon hot pot was good except the salmon was definitely a little bit rubbery and hard definitely not fresh. Other than that everything was excellent. Hopefully next time they’ll have more seafood options..

We decided to grab a bowl of soup on a chilly rainy evening, and we were lucky enough to find a spot that wasn’t too crowded for dinner. The place was easy to park and we had a nice table all to ourselves.
Now, I’ve heard that this place is a hit or miss for people who try it, so we decided to give it a shot. We ordered two bowls of soup, which some people call ramen or pho, or whatever you prefer.
I ordered the Pho noodle soup, which is topped with chopped cilantro, green onions, and white onions. It also comes with a side of bean sprouts, lime wedges, and green chili. The broth was delicious and the noodles were a bit too soft for my liking. I had to spit out some of the meat because it was tough to chew and swallow
Overall, I gave this meal two stars.
Next, we tried the Saigon Noodle Soup. It had prawns, housemade BBQ pork, and ground pork. It was topped with sesame oil, toasted garlic, fried shallots, cilantro, and onions. The meal was average. We gave the meal three and a half stars.

Lovely atmosphere, in regard to the setting…ordered the Red Curry Duck that had a horrible after taste of blood much like a puddle mud duck, Merganser; my young son’s first hunting experience they “accidentally “ hunted. The memory of that flavor is totally unforgettable!

I dream about Soy House’s Saigon Noodle Soup! Best ever! Most people go for Pho, but I asked the waiter one day what he gets and he said Saigon Noodle Soup every time… and I haven’t had anything else since. It is seriously that good. And the owners and staff are AMAZING, friendly and so fun, they even posed with my truck. 🙂

We were disappointed with our recent experience. My daughter is vegan, and the containers for our food were not labeled, so we couldn’t tell which dish was which. Unfortunately, she accidentally mixed chicken onto her tofu and was unable to eat it. When we explained what happened, we were told we would need to pay again for a replacement.
We understand mistakes happen, but clearer labeling and a bit of flexibility would have gone a long way. We hope the restaurant considers better labeling practices in the future, especially for customers with dietary restrictions.

We came in from out of town for some sightseeing and a scenic drive with our new baby. As we finished walking around the Maritime Heritage Park, we chose Soy House over the Mexican restaurant Jalapeños across the street. I’m so glad we did because even though it was busy they sat us down almost right away even though they said there was a 15 minute wait. After we sat down we ordered the Pork Vermicelli noodles and the Beef Stir Fry under Hope’s recommendations. Hope was our server and we had such a great time even though I had to hound my food down in 7 minutes since we had a baby starting to throw a fuss. Overall a great restaurant and an even better experience. Hope was an amazing server and even helped me get some tea at the very end after I had already paid, thank you Hope you’re a lifesaver!

$39.50 for two orders of beef pho is CRAZY WORK YALL. If I would have known the price before I ordered I would have skipped this place all together. Pho was fine. I loooooove pho so I’m probably gonna like any pho I get but it wasn’t anything special. It was a decent size though! Overall, if the prices were better I wouldn’t be complaining but if you’re gonna charge me $20 for a single bowl of pho you gotta do better than average.

The Soy House is one of the first restaurants I went to in Bellingham and my kids and I have loved it ever since. Their pho is delicious and perfect for our cold dark winters, but their stir fry, Bun, and fried prawns are absolutely delicious as well. We went there early yesterday before the Shoestring Circus and had an absolutely wonderful meal. I had the Bun with chicken, my daughter’s boyfriend had the Bun with shrimp, my kids had pork chow mein and chicken fried rice. Everyone loved their meal. Soy house is a staple for our family!

The eggs rolls was really good and spring rolls. I Order pho and it was ok, the bowl was big but less noodles and brisket, the brisket was chewy and looks weird, I would rather go to 99 pho because it has good portions like large bowl= lots of noodles. At here soy house is just looking fancy but the food is alright
