Long time favorite place to get a unique dinner. Can be an impressive place to bring a fresh date. I am very serious about fried rice, and there is nowhere in the world I have found yet to make better fried rice. Be prepared to bring $100 for each person so you can enjoy whatever your heart desires. The guy in the picture is the founder, still cheffing it-up!

We were visiting out of town for a birthday and made a reservation at opening. I rated them a 3 based off of few conversations within our group. You’re offered white rice or fried rice. The fried rice is $6 added to your entree pricing, and substituting the white rice (not a side ordered adder as labeled on the menu). It was still delicious in my opinion. The chicken was a bit dry but it’s not marinated at all either. Mixed reviews on our chef, from those who have been to this type of restaurant and those who attended for the first time. Reviews consisted of our chef being short, and limited entertainment experience. Atmosphere was really dark, even in the bathrooms. It was hard to see in the bathroom and if the restrooms were truly clean. The floors near the toilet were wet (this was about 20 min after opening). Overall, I have a different standard now for visiting again, and would return.

I did not have a good experience at this place. This was my first time eating there, and the chef brought a cart of food out and parked it right next to me to the point My shoulder was touching the cart and the cart had raw food on it I proceeded to push the cart away from me and the chef was very angry and upset because I said that the car was way too close to me and It was touching me and I was concerned about it one being raw food & Two. I was worried that my hair would get in the food so I proceeded to move to the other side of the table, and I was told that I was not allowed to sit on the other side and so I set against the wall next to the register until my food was done and asked for my food to go. I spoke up and said something to the manager about my concerns and he proceeded to argue with me and said that I could’ve moved to the seat Next to the raw food. Idk the whole experience was just off putting and the food wasn’t good or worth $50.

Samurai’s sucks for take out!!! You can’t even order fried rice even though their making it all night! I called at 5:45pm and he told me they couldn’t do take out until 8:30pm! How ridiculous is this! They’re making takeout literally every hour probably at five or six different tables so how tough is it to throw on some extra rice? Really super annoying!!! They should Reserve someone just for takeout, you know how much more money they would make! Or they just don’t care to make any more money lol their loss and mine because I can’t have the fried rice. Extremely disappointing!!! They are definitely overpriced but the fried rice is pretty good.

Calming and dark inside and then you sit down and the chef prepares wonderful Japanese Hibachi. The chefs are showmen and wonderful to talk to. It makes a great communal experience and a wonderful way to celebrate life events. If it’s your birthday you have the option to play the drum while they sing Happy Birthday.

Though I’d share as I didn’t see many other reviews commenting on food allergies – I’m celiac and was so well taken care of here! They prepared my food in their kitchen with gluten free ingredients but it didn’t take away from the service and fun of sitting with my friends at the grill. The chef and server staff were so great and attentive and the food was delicious 🙂

Came here for my birthday yesterday and it was very underwhelming. It’s really nice inside but for what? Lol. Its overhyped. Steak was cooked ok but it was bland with not much flavor. Not very many drink options and the whole thing seemed rushed. The workers were nice too but overall I like Sapporo better.

Tried this place since it was only a couple min from my house. Really nice interior decoration everywhere. I made reservations, and we were seated on time. Waitress was busy, so we sat there for over 10 minutes before she even took our drink order. Another 5+ min before the drinks every came out. I was thirsty and finished mine quickly. Took her 10+ min to get me a refill. Chef finally came out, a little bit of conversation but not much. Show was the most average hibachi show I’ve ever seen. It’s not horrible, but not a single thing special about it. Ordered a meal for myself and my 2 kids (10 & 4) prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY high. Little chicken and rice for my son ($25.50). Oh, and if you want fried rice instead of the included white rice. A substitute would make sense, but NOPE. They charge you $5.50 ADDITIONAL for fried rice PER person and charge it as a “side.” Which makes ZERO sense because you don’t also get white rice. If you got white rice AND fried rice, that $5.50 additional charge would be justified. I went here as a birthday celebration and that was also uneventful. Want them to sing and give you desert line ANY normal restaurant? That’ll be $15. They even have the nerve to put that charge on the menu. The food was okay, the service was okay, the show was okay, the price was $163 for 1 adult, 2 kids, and 2 sodas, not including the tip. If you want a good experience, choose another place. I feel scammed for the amount of money I paid.
