I went back to the tavern just to see my favorite waiter, Loriel Ingram, she always serves me with a smile and gives me the most welcomed feeling being there. There’s no doubt she gives some of the best service from her stupendous work and help.

We had a fantastic lunch. Despite it being a weekend and fairly busy, we were promptly seated. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, the outdoor patio was the perfect spot and all of our dishes were delicious.

Sat outside on the heated patio. Drinks and service were excellent, food was good but nothing special. Would recommend the nachos and French onion soup. Fries and flatbread were ok.

I love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic. We sat in the bar area right by a cozy fire with live music. The food was very good I had the special which was braised short ribs. My girlfriend had a filet mignon. Everything was cooked perfectly. The drinks were great as well. Service was excellent. Our server was a gentleman he was attentive and helpful in describing items on the menu and made good suggestions.

Loriel Ingram is hands down the best waiter at Four Dogs Tavern. From the moment we were seated, Loriel made us feel welcome with a warm attitude and genuine professionalism. She knows the menu inside and out, gave excellent recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly as we wanted.
What really sets Loriel apart is his attention to detail and timing—our drinks were never empty, our food was perfect, and she checked in just enough to make sure we were taken care of without ever interrupting the experience. She handled a busy dining room with ease and still made our table feel like a priority.

This is a really nice place to stop by and grab something to eat, super casual and laid back and the outdoor area is dog friendly. They even brought my buddy some water, the service was excellent. I highly recommend the onion soup and Reuben sandwich. My husband ordered the Carolina pulled pork sandwich and it was also really good. The drinks are on the pricier side, $14 for a hot cider so definitely something to keep in mind when ordering. The food was fairly priced. Overall i recommend this place and definitely would return.

Four Dogs is the beeest! The crab cakes (and cheese puffs!) are exquisite, as is the filet mignon. I haven’t had everything on the menu, but have had enough to know it’s top-notch. Chef David and his staff know what they’re doing! That, the charming rustic atmosphere and the dog-friendly theme make it a cozy gem in the country!

Had a great day date with my fiancé at the Four Dogs Tavern. Mike, who was bartending, also waited on us at our table in the bar area and he was so personable and friendly. He made great recommendations which we tried and absolutely loved… grilled octopus, shrimp lejon, beet & goat cheese salad with the most tender chicken (you could cut it with your fork). The portions are substantial and beautiful presentation. I can’t wait to go back this summer and sit outside on the outdoor patio! This is a great spot to go to then drive around the beautiful countryside and hit either Northbrook Marketplace or the Amish Market at 202 and 926 for some great baked goods. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be back!

Cool setting both inside and out. Restaurant is in a old stable with exposed beams and stone work. Food was great, we had the pear salad, the salmon gruyere, rigatoni, fish & chips, flatbread, mushroom soup, and calamari. All was very tasty! Beer selection was wide on both the draft & bottle menu. Restaurant is in historic village, with plenty of history. All walkable. Close to Downingtown & Westchester. Prices are on the high side, but are justified with setting and quality. Service was very good as well.
