Had a very good meal. I wish I could get the same service from the Wilkesboro location. Ordered the same thing at both locations. Basic meal salad and baked potato. At the Wilkesboro location the potato was over cooked and looked like it had maybe been reheated. Wasn’t able to eat. Have always gotten good food at the Elkin location.

Thanksgiving day we were out shopping and tried to get a table in Mount Airy for 4 at 5. We and everyone behind us were told we would not be seated until a large party had to be seated and served before anyone else was going to be sat. By a manager. We called and went to the Elkin location and they were the best. We walked in at 5:40 and were greeted like, and treated like family. It was a great experience. Er talked to the manager several times, she was great. The service was great and the food was delicious. I want to say thank you for the meal, but thank you more for welcoming us even though they were closing in 20 minutes. Can’t say enough how much we appreciate them.

This is the second visit to this establishment. Once for lunch and the burger was so good I told my wife she needs to try it. Dinner tonight did not disappoint. All american as it comes was wonderful again. My wifes Swiss mushroom was excellent as well. Well done for her and not a hockey puck. Medium for me and just the right amount of pink.

Entered the Elkin location at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. I ask the hostess if i could sit at the bar and she said yes. 10 minutes later, no bartender or waitress had acknowledged my presence. When an employee did walk by they looked at me and then proceeded to walk by without saying a word. At this point i left. If the service is this bad, im sure the food is no better. Go to Angry Troll Brewery and you will get the service you deserve.

Absolutely delicious food. Amazing potatoes.
Appetizer was very good. Everything cooked to perfection. Waitress was very attentive, friendly and courteous.

The service was a little slow. No one was at the door to seat you when ypu walked in. We stood there for 6 to 7 min before anyone acknowledged us. Once we got seated in the bar area the bar tender was a little backed up but got to us as soon as she could. One of use ordered the filet and the other ribs. Both dinners were cooked accordingly per our request. Overall a decent experience.

The wife and I end up here for lunch a couple times a month. Service is usually pretty good, and it’s hit or miss with the food. Sometimes things come out nice and fresh, sometimes we have to send it back for a fresh option. My biggest gripe is the rolls, I don’t know if they changed the recipe or changed the vendor they get them from, but the last few times we’ve been the rolls are just terrible. It’s really sad, because we used to really look forward to having them….
