Great place to stop for wonderful sandwich and amazing baked goods! The King Cakes were stackkkked up! We had the turkey sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. Both were amazing. The service was great. The restaurant was clean.

Sky did a beautiful job on our baby shark birthday cake. We requested baby shark, but I asked her to use her creativity to add more of an underwater scene and she nailed it. There were so many extra details. It was beautiful and delicious!

We stopped in after hearing wonderful things about the food. It’s a cute little restaurant, and the desserts looked amazing, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the food just wasn’t what we hoped for. The sandwiches were pretty plain, and the menu descriptions felt a bit off. I paid about $20 for a sandwich, a side salad (I originally ordered pasta salad, but was told after ordering that they were out), and a flat soda. The wait was nearly 20 minutes for the sandwich, and overall I left disappointed. I really wanted to love this place and hoped it would be a new lunch spot near the office, but it just missed the mark for us.

Disappointed I normally don’t do things like this but I was very disappointed about the way I was treated when I tried to call and make a telephone order to Julie Ann’s Bakery in Shreveport. I had never used them before and had heard their stuff was really good BUT the way you receive service from a place can make you change your mind about going there no matter how good they are suppose to be AND it can make you pass that experience on to other people. I tried calling several times this morning. First time when they answered I was told upon answering “please hold” and according to my phone timer I was on hold for more than 19 1/2 minutes. So I hung up. Second time I tried calling I could tell upon them answering it was a “pick up/hang up”. Upon the THIRD time calling when they answered, before I could even say anything, I was told “This is our rush hour. We are extremely busy. Can you call back when we aren’t busy?” I couldn’t even ask questions about placing an order when she simply hung up on me. I am a very understanding person and I know all businesses get busy BUT you also still have people calling to place orders. These customers deserve the same courtesy as the customers standing in line. If your business is that busy then you should hire someone to handle the incoming calls during your rush hours. Again, this is my opinion.

I went to Julie Anne’s cafe for the first time today at 4:45pm. Was looking forward to a coffee, sandwich and pastry since I had missed lunch. And from the reviews.
The girl behind the counter said they had no more coffee for the day – at 4:45pm! She had disposed of the last batch and she was no longer making any more since it was closing soon – meaning in an hour and 15mins! I was quite annoyed.
There were several people in the cafe, about 6-10, and some people arrived after me. I did plead my case but to no avail. I ended up ordering a sandwich, no coffee, no pastry.
A cafe with no coffee with a hour still to go before close. So sad.

I came here during lunch and ordered a shrimp po’ boy with roasted potatoes and a cookie. I forgot to add a drink, so that’s my fault. The lady was kind and assisted me in ordering what I had saw online. It has a typical atmosphere where you can sit down and blend in. It was quite busy, but I got my food at a normal time. I recommend this place, but come hungry, because it will fill you up!!

Have always enjoyed eating here but lately I have been stopping in decorative trays of cookies as gifts. They are done up with whatever holiday theme is current or they can customize. Great for any occasion.
