At our Lexington, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Clearly only one appetizer was delivered.
And doordash said that the restaurant confirmed the weight before handing it to the dasher.

Posted hours? Yeah, right. This place opens and closes when they want to. Forget the posted schedule. The service gets more and more rude every year. Last time I was in there Jesus music was BLASTING. I’m not a Christian, but I respect everyone’s faith that is respectful. I regularly do business in pleases playing Christian music butthis was obnoxiously LOUD. Perhaps the cashiers should endeavor to display some of those Christian values and not talk to customers with contempt for bothering them.

Spent almost $16.00 which included an upcharge for a loaded baked potato only to receive a potato that fit in my 10yr old hand with nothing on it. Food was old wasn’t fresh. Like what is going with this location? Food quality is never consistent, hours are all over the place and for the price I could have went some where else and got a hot fresh meal. Highly disappointed!!!!

The fish was fresh and the sides were hot! The servers were very nice. The restaurant and restroom was spotless. (I don’t personally care for the music, but it’s no biggie.)

I ordered through the drive thru tonight. The food was not good. I got batter dipped fish and batter dipped fish. The food was overcooked, especially the shrimp. The hushpuppies were also overcooked. I was super disappointed. It took about 20 minutes to prepare my food. Someone from upper management needs to come visit this store.

The person at the drive thru didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked for what was in the sign out front. Had to get a”manager” to explain to him what I wanted ♀️ haven’t been there in years but mom lives the place so I popped in after leaving the pharmacy across the road. Food was fair. Asked for vinegar, no vinegar in the bag. All I wanted was the 2 can eat for 9.99 I guess that’s what I should expect in the drive through.

I hadn’t been to Captain D’s in quite a while and I got a three-piece fish dinner and I have to say it was very delicious! The people were courteous and the place was packed because it was apparently seniors day.
Update: I hit it again today and it was just as good as ever. I got some pictures this time!
