I’m actually surprised it’s taken me this long to leave a review!! I’ve eaten at Icehouse Restaurant for years and have loved it just as long. I grew up going with my Dad when we’d visit him at the beach and as an adult even when I’ve lived out of state I never miss getting my crab legs and key lime pie when I’m in town even if we only have time for takeout. We are moving back soon and one of the things I’m excited for most is being close to this nostalgic restaurant and being able to have it whenever I want. It’s local, it’s lovely, and I wouldn’t change a thing ❤️

The bartender was friendly and welcoming, and the hostess was just as nice. I had an Icehouse beer, which was cold and refreshing. I ordered the chicken and ribs, and the food was very tasty and well cooked. Overall, it was a great experience with good service and good food. I’d definitely come back. I will be back when I visit Virginia Beach again.

Young waitress was fantastic. Food was very good overall. It’s a Buffalo fan bar on game day which we weren’t expecting. No complaints at all. Might try dinner next time for a more quaint atmosphere. Wasn’t expecting a bar environment, but a great group of locals for sure .

We hit this place again for the Thursday night rib special special, and it was an eight bone half of rack of rids nicely done. Service was fast and friendly. We followed the good dinner up with a cold one out back listening to the band. Good night out!

We were looking for some good local food. The Icehouse delivered! The Icehouse has a great menu but always check out the daily specials for some hidden gems. The day we visited they had a great prime rib on special! It was delicious my only advice is to get the larger cut because I wish I had more when I finished the smaller portion! We also had the Greek salad made with their grandmother’s secret recipe Greek dressing. Kyle our server was attentive and helpful.

This is Anne K- I ordered DoorDash from Ice House last evening. I called before hand to ask about seasoning for the pork chop entree. The customer service that I received was outstanding! When my meal arrived, the pork chops, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, applesauce, and baked apples were delicious!
I highly recommend Ice House for both the food and the customer service!
