So we were told by our GMC dealer that this was the best place in town to get breakfast. So we decided to give it a shot. The name vicious, biscuit alone sounds enticing. We drove over and decided to have some of their food. One of the guys from the GMC dealer said that the fat boy biscuit was the way to go, so that’s what we ordered.
And we decided that that was the breakfast piece we wanted. So we ordered it with cheese, grits and candied bacon. The dead. Decorations inside the business is very nice. The customer service was excellent. They allowed us to enter with our service. Dog, which is always appreciated. Now let’s talk about the food. The fat boy, chicken biscuit was huge, very tasty. Plenty enough food for 2, we each got a biscuit. And were full to our gills. Cheese grits were fluffy, candy bacon is to die for we also had a mimosa and a vicious Bloody Mary. That was quite good. We have to say 5 stars for this location. As again the food was great. The atmosphere was great. And the service was great. We will be back whenever we are in the area. Thanks again, guys.
PS my wife said you guys need to make a version of the fat boy called the fat girl for females. Maybe put a pickle on it.

The Vicious Biscuit hype is real!!! My sandwich biscuit was absolutely perfectly huge, filling, and had that beautiful balance of being crumbly, soft, and crispy all at once. The candied bacon was a phenomenal addition that takes the sandwich up a notch. The “Jam Bar” (flavored butters and jams ) is such fun idea! I loved using the top of my biscuit to taste-test them all. To top it off, I had a fantastic Bloody Mary that was thick, a little spicy, and truly delicious. This place is a must-visit!!!

There’s plenty of space to sit, and the whole place is well lit with a welcoming feel.
One of the coolest features is their butter and jam bar. They offer a variety of butters like honey butter, maple bourbon butter, sweet potato butter, and regular butter, along with jams that range from apple butter and apple pie jam to blueberry ghost pepper, blackberry, peach habanero, and strawberry.
They serve more than just biscuits and biscuit sandwiches too, with options like bowls and short stacks. My husband ordered the Fat Boy, a buttermilk biscuit stacked with crispy fried chicken, pimento cheese, and hot honey. The Fat Boy was delicious, the chicken was perfectly crispy, and the mix of chili sauce and pimento cheese gave it a flavorful kick. I can see why that is one of their standout biscuits. I ordered the Animal Farm, which came with a buttermilk biscuit, white cheddar, Vicious candied bacon, and an egg cooked your way. I had mine scrambled, and the egg was nice and fluffy, though I was not too thrilled with the bacon and ended up giving it to my husband.
What I really enjoyed was eating the biscuit topped with butter and blackberry jam. It was absolutely delightful. We loved the biscuits so much that we actually ordered more to take home.
Vicious Biscuit definitely hit the spot and is a fun place for biscuit lovers to try.

We had a great experience at Vicious Biscuit in Boone! The service was excellent friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and unique flavors that really stood out. Prices were a little on the higher side, but honestly worth it for the quality and overall experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in Boone!

This place is great!!! All the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the employees are all super friendly!! They even have a bar with loads of different butters and jams on tap, which is amazing, and I highly recommend the sweet potato and honey butters. The chicken and waffles is also amazing, the sweet potato waffle was just the cherry on top. I will say the latte was a bit syrupy though!! Also shout out to Keyven (sorry if i spelled that wrong!!), he was awesome!!!!

Staff was more than helpful. There was a full jam bar included. Modern style dining where you order at the counter, you’re given and number, and food is brought to your table (self seating). Everything we ordered was delicious.

Everything I want in a breakfast!
The only restaurant I have been to that has gluten free biscuits. So delicious! And the keto bowel was perfect. I put some spicy mayo on for a kick. They have a butter and jam bar with all you need for dressing up a plain biscuit. Hubby had a bacon and egg biscuit and the apple caramel beneigh.

We went for the first time in November 2025 and I do have to say this place is well worth the money the biscuits are huge we tried the gravy train and the fat boy and a few other things and was far from disappointed. The atmosphere is great the people who work here are so polite and nice. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I definitely would. We highly highly recommend going and trying this place out I promise you will not b disappointed!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food this morning at Vicious Biscuit Boone. The wait was very long, our fault for arriving at the beginning of peak hours–around 10 a.m. on a Saturday. We waited in line 30 minutes to place our order, received a number, and waited another 30 minutes for our food. The cashier was friendly and helpful (and patient with “newbies”); her only misstep was offering my husband a “Vicious Mary” made with Jameson whiskey or Kahlua because they ran out of vodka. Yuck! When the food arrived, they delivered only three of our five items ordered. We asked wait staff twice for our missing items and were told the kitchen was too backed up. Final two items were delivered about ten minutes later. We ordered The Vicious (the best of what we sampled–maple sausage gravy on chicken and biscuit are not to be missed), Nashville Hot Chicken (tasty but we all liked Vicious better), Skully Squad Special (ho-hum and like other breakfast bowls), and a side of potatoes (good but nothing special). We sampled a few items from the Butter Bar; blueberry jalapeno jam and maple bourbon butter were outstanding. I could have eaten them both off a spoon but saved part of my biscuit to sample them. Completely worth the calories and amount of walking to work them off! It’s a bit pricey for not being a full-service restaurant and for the time we waited. Food quality was very good, though, and portions were generous. We agreed that when we are in Boone, if we are there during off-peak hours, we would definitely return. In addition to enjoying another Vicious biscuit, there are other menu items we are interested in trying. (Sorry for the somewhat gross picture of a half-eaten biscuit, but I wanted to post something to give an idea of portion size. I was so hungry I forgot to snap a picture when the food first arrived. I’ll do better next time.)
