I’ve gotta say—the food was delicious. I stopped in for a business lunch at the recently opened Spicy House and ended up having a great conversation with the owner. We learned the chefs are from Sichuan (Szechuan), China, so you’re getting the real deal when it comes to authentic flavors.
And despite the name, don’t worry—they offer three spice levels, so even if you’re not a heat lover, you’re covered.
The atmosphere was open and comfortable, not cramped like a lot of places. They’ve got electronic tablet menus, and yes… a robot server (which was pretty awesome).
The restaurant was spotless—you can tell these folks take real pride in their business. Service was great from start to finish.
They also carry some exotic liquors from their homeland—fair warning, those will put some hair on your chest —plus several beers on tap.
As for the food: filling, flavorful, and satisfying without leaving you drenched in sweat. I ordered the combo lo mein and spicy chicken, and I’d absolutely order it again.
I’m definitely bringing the family back for a new food adventure. Highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try.
Support local business—you won’t regret this one!
You order on a tablet or kiosk so you can see pics of the dishes which is cool and different.
We ordered a number of dishes, the portion size is good, so we ate our fill and still have enough for a second meal.
Hot and Sour Soup was delicious. Pot Stickers were crispy on the outside and filled with a juicy pork filling.
Spicy Garlic Pork was delicious as was Garlic Eggplant.
They end the meal with delicious chocolate cake bites.
Definitely worth checking out if you like Chinese Cuisine and Spicy Food.
