First time trying Mr. Sizzlers for dinner tonight—just 7 days before Christmas
We ordered two sizzling T-bone steaks and two sizzling pork ribs. The prices are fair and reasonable for the taste, and the servings are generous—good for two people, or even three if you’re on a diet
What I really liked was how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The ambiance is decent and exactly what you’d expect from a casual dining spot. Since it’s located near Dumaguete Boulevard, expect a high volume of customers during lunch and dinner, especially during the holidays.
This is also one of the few restaurants in Dumaguete City that’s open 24/7, which is a big plus. Just a heads-up: motorcycle parking in front is limited, and cars usually need to park along the street, often on the opposite side of the road.
Overall, we had a good dining experience and would definitely come back when we’re in the area.

Steak with mixed vegetables and rice. Steak was ok though serving the cheapest tasteless micro portion of frozen gmo vegetables was a sad joke. My entire serving of tasteless frozen vegetables fitted on one spoon. That is a first for me!!. .. really!!!

From the outside, the store and the ambiance look so tempting that you’d really want to try it. We arrived around 8 PM and were amazed by the menu because they have a wide selection. While we were deciding and choosing, the cashier was just staring at us, and every time we mentioned a food item we wanted, it was unavailable. At first, we were fine with it, but the second time we chose again, it was still not available. We were already mourning the dishes we wanted to try, yet the cashier stayed still and never said anything.
When it was finally time to order, again she said it was unavailable. How could you not be disappointed when every item you want is not available? She could have told us beforehand what wasn’t available so we could have chosen from the remaining options. We understand if two or three items are unavailable, but more than five is not acceptable without informing the customer. When we looked at their whiteboard, only one item was listed as 86. The manager was there and she was the one who said sorry and thank you, but the cashier never said a word. She even looked straight at me as if she was mad. She’s wearing braces but the attitude does not match.
The food was just okay, nothing special, but if you’re on a budget, it works. For the price, it’s already good. But please teach your staff how to approach and apologize to customers properly.

My review concerns a breakfast visit to the Sizzlers branch on Silliman Avenue, near the Boulevard. After a night shift, we were looking for a calm place to eat. However, the atmosphere was the opposite of peaceful. The noise level from the staff was so high that we couldn’t enjoy our meal. A more controlled environment would significantly improve the experience for guests seeking a quiet start to their day.”

It’s a new branch opened in Dumaguete City. It’s surprisingly full every time we pass by the area so we decided to try out the place. The food is generally good, except for the sizzling bangus which I considered undersized for the price. The service is good too, the service crew are joyfully helpful & polite. The ambiance is a bit average because the place is hazy due to smoke from the sizzling platters of customers! They are a bit expensive but the portion is fair enough for the price. Overall, I’d consider thw experience worth repeating.

Meals are served with an incredibly large portion for a decent price. Service is fast and staffs are approachable. However, I think sizzling bangus should be marinated or what just for the meat to sip some flavors and be flavorful. It would also be best to remove the skin. Just a thought. And cucumber juice would be best with a lemon on it.

Chill vibes, clean place though they were super busy, the crew were so friendly & tried their best to attend to every hungry & thirsty customers:) Rheena, I believed was our server, she was on top of her work, kudos!
