The food was good. The service was better than anything. It seems like the food was lacking some seasoning. Like no love in the food. I got the poutine, lobster roll, lobster bisque, and rhubarb pie. Lobster was not fresh. Would say the brand may want to check their quality. Looked great, but lacking flavor.

Cant say I’ve had better seafood fried or broiled! The seafood platter was 2x what i could eat and normally I can put one down myself. Even the sides were great! The mashed potatoes and gravey we got for my little one sparked the rest of us to order a side of them too! Deserts we have had were all amazing as well. We have been back 4 times in 3 weeks to get our fill before we head back down to Florida. Oh and I cant forget the waiter who was fantastic! He basically remembered our orders from a week back and was always attentive and helpful but never hovering over us. He just came at the right time everytime for us! This will be our go too place when we stay at our place in Monticello for sure! The lemon and blueberry cake with cheesecake icing we ordered was the size of a cake and DELICIOUS!

If your looking for a bite to eat that has that home feel this is the place. With a wide variety of options ranging from a moutwatering meatloaf mountain to senior meals that feel straight from the heart with the older generation in mind, and kids meals that make the little ones feel included, and of course desserts that make your taste buds sing. The quality has never wavered in the 20+ years that I have been a costumer, wich is a rare quality in a buisness these days. My personal favorite is a tie between thier perfectly cooked clame tenders and thier delectible thanksgiving night sandwich. Amazing food, stellar service, reasonable pricing, and a staff that is genuinely helpful and wonderful to interact with. I’d say this restaurant is of note for both locals and tourists alike.

While the staff is amazing, the food is sub-par. The fried food is just tons of flour, no seasoning at all. The fried class are mushy and taste like they still have the poo in them. The Haddock fish and scallops are fresh but not seasoned. The locals are very sweet and love this place. I have no desire to go back.

The margarita was a large cup of ice with a very sweet mix. The lobster bisque was ok, and did have a few pieces of lobster in it. The seafood stuffed Haddock was full of a Ritz stuffing, but there wasn’t any seafood in it. The Haddock was cooked well, but there was so much cracker stuffing it ruined the fish. The lobster sauce tasted like the lobster bisque
without the lobster in it. The Caesar salad was drowned in a dressing that did not taste like a Caesar dressing. My husband had a lobster roll and was not impressed, but he did enjoy the French fries.
Both of us had upset stomachs after dinner.

Best food around! Their haddock is thick, juicy, and oh so good! Fried pickles, French fries, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Meatloaf, steak tips, grilled chicken. You name it, they have it, and it’s just like your mama made it!

We enjoyed very good food here. Blueberry beet salad, maple chicken poutine, and fried pickles are pictured. All very good. Have to say that the poutine is just a bit too sweet. But it is an appetizer and not meant as a meal. The wait staff served us with a smile and all were very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Service was welcoming and spot on with the recommendations. Lobster Roll with a side of poutine-style fries. Local Presque Ilse Blonde Ale. It was Pie Night (Sunday), so I didn’t pass up the Blueberry Crumb Pie a la mode. Healthy portions. The food was delicious and devoured with much satisfaction.

The food was absolutely delicious, the fried pickles are a must-have for sure. The train is very cool, it really adds to the atmosphere of the place. The chicken pot pie is amazing, and the chicken waffle mountain was incredible. Our waitress was very sweet, she made sure we had everything we needed and got our food to us very quickly. I would 10/10 come here again.

What can I say. We wanted an early dinner and the guy at the hotel recommended this place. We thought being a Tuesday afternoon it would be quiet, it was actually really busy. We soon found why. It may not be much to look at from the outside, but the food is fantastic.
I am someone who likes quality. I was expecting something basic here, but everything is home made. The bread was fresh from the oven, the soup was excellent and the girls loved the fish dishes they had.
I would certainly recommend this place. If you are ever in Presque Isle, this is where to eat.
