The Canteen is on the main floor of Wrong Way Campground’s communal River Lodge and is open to guests and the public from 7am to 9pm every day. Come get a coffee drink and delicious pastry in the morning or grab a couple sandwiches and salads for a picnic on the property or on the go. Our food partner, New Stock Pantry delivers their seasonally-inspired, farm-sourced food multiple times per week to ensure freshness. And don’t forget about our diverse selection of local craft beverages. We also have indoor/outdoor seating spaces and complimentary, high-speed Wifi so you can hang out with your beverage of choice and get some work done at the satellite office. Come check us out and slow down to river-time!

Great beer selection. Snacks were tasty. Staff was friendly. The hammock chairs outside was a big win. We stopped here on a boat bar crawl tour – and it was awesome! They had the ring on a hook game The gift shop had some really cool stuff, too!

What an awesome spot!!! Great takeaway options as well as eat in goodies. The coffee is awesome serving delicious counter culture beans. Ample room for plenty of people to hang. Awesome could be an amazing event space with welcoming decks and outdoor space. Worth a checkout for sure when you are cruising along the river either by foot, bike or even boat!!

Love the Canteen at Wrong Way- it’s super easy to get to from the greenway and has indoor & outdoor seating. They’ve got coffee, tea, beer, and snacks. My favorites are the jasmine green tea & the chamomile tea.

Awesome! Adorable place, sweet people.. I did not feel out of place, which I quite often do in coffee shops. I both want to tell everyone about it because I love it so much, and not tell anyone so I can keep it to myself. It’s a must see. 🙂

This is just the kind of thing the river and greenway through Asheville needs! An easy place to jump off and grab a drink and some great food. Beautiful lodge and big outdoor deck – with lots of outdoor picnic tables and even a field to hang out in…or just load all the provisions you grabbed back into your canoe and keep moving on! What’s not to love? Hoping to see this overlook deck become its own scene. Good friends, good views, good vibes 🙂
