Understand, this is burgers and hot dogs …. Not steak or what have you. For dogs and burgers, good place. Hot dogs and chili are legendary and awesome. Burger is just ok… is clearly a frozen patty and not fresh unfrozen.
Service is super fast and great
Atmosphere- it’s a hot dog place!
Definitely recommend and I’ll definitely keep going but instead of a burger and dog, might just go for 3 dogs going forward. Fries and tea are good too!

If you’re looking for a great place with great atmosphere great service and friendly staff this is the spot. I had heard about this spot from a couple of people and was in the area so I stopped by at lunch today as I drove up I thought oh no it’s going to be a long wait. I’ve included pictures that shows all the cars. There was no parking anywhere, not because they don’t have a lot of parking spaces but because there was so many cars there and the place was packed out, all the tables were filled when I got inside and there was a queue of about 6 people waiting to order, but even with all of that my total time in the store was only about 15 minutes from the time I walked through the door and including my wait time. Great little spot with great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

The service here is great.The food is prepared quickly. The only thing that I have a problem with is a couple of times i’ve been in there and ordered food to go The order wasn’t right. One time Several hot dogs were left out. Another timeThe toppings weren’t correct like the condiments, but it’s no big deal.Not trying to pick at them because this is a great restaurant.Currently my favorite place to eat! They’re friendly.Their service is great. The food is great. I absolutely love the hotdogs they make. The cost isnt too bad either its not expensive to eat here at all.

Hey Guy’s. We went to the Hot Dog Cafe in Wellford SC today and it was great . We’ve been hearing about this spot for a while so since it was such a beautiful day we decided to give it a try.
Boy I’m glad we did!
The hot dogs were great with a wiener that was bigger than a pencil and the chilli was tasty and made with real beef.
The cheeseburgers were big and juicy and made with real beef also.
Jalayla really liked her Dump Dog that came fully loaded.
Lauryn enjoyed her corn dogs and she said that they weren’t greasy.
The cafe is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It’s quite spacious and neat and clean. Service was nice and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. So all in all you get your moneys worth and the food is good here

I absolutely LOVE the hot dog cafe! Delicious food for a great price! My kids love to come here! They love the bird dogs and the fried bologna sandwich is fire. The dump dogs are allowed Delicious. Its one of our favorite family spots.

Lived in the area for 6 years and never knew this was more than a hot dog eatery. I ordered a Grilled Chicken and French Fries. The chicken was excellent and the fries are REAL. Not frozen. Great food. I will be returning often.

The type of place that was good many years ago when previous ownership took pride in what they served, used all meat products, fresh ingredients and offered service with a smile.
The food was bad, the service was bad, the atmosphere was bad, it was a horrible experience.
If you like cheap, boiled, unhealthy weiners, dried non-seasoned burgers, stale bread, greasy chili made with low quality ingredients, flat soda and a not so clean environment….this is the joint for you.
But there was plenty of seating when we went, the place was nearly empty.
