The painkiller drink was a little weak – but our service was great, our food was loved by all! My personal favorite is the beef burrito extra cheese in and out! Kids loved their food options, they do have Mac and cheese as a side, just ask!

recently dined at Tumbleweed on Dixie Highway and ordered the chicken baked potato with sour cream, butter, crispy onion straws and cheese. At first, the meal was delicious—everything was well-prepared, and I was enjoying it. However, as I worked my way through the potato, I discovered a large black spot on one side.
I asked my waitress about it, and she assured me it was safe to eat, even offering to bring me another one. While I appreciated her response and her willingness to help, I just couldn’t bring myself to eat any more of it after seeing the spot, especially since I’m pregnant. I ended up eating majority of my house salad and packing the my mashed to go.
The rest of the food was good, but I feel the kitchen staff should be more careful when preparing and plating meals to ensure quality. It seemed like someone should have noticed the spot before serving it.
That said, I have to commend my waitress for being incredibly kind and understanding. She even waived the charge for my lemonade as a courtesy, even though I didn’t expect her to. Her great service didn’t go unnoticed, and I made sure to tip her well.
Overall, the experience was mostly positive, but attention to detail in food preparation is something that could be improved.

The place was only half full with a wait on a Saturday night . Clearly indicating they have major staffing issues . However the actual product was fantastic . The chicken was moist and tender . The food was incredible in spite of that and the portions were very large . And our server Donna was a saint . She was clearly under a lot of demand and pressure and still managed to somehow take great care of us .

Honestly, this experience was a mess from start to finish. It took forever for our server, Katlyn K, to even take our order, and when she finally showed up, her attitude made it pretty clear she didn’t want to be there. The vibe was off immediately.
We sat with no drinks for over 20 minutes and then even longer for refills, and our empty appetizer plates and cups stayed on the table the whole time. She walked by multiple times and still didn’t bother to pick anything up i then had to ask her to take them off the table she grabbed a couple and never came back to finish grabbing anything else. i then had to take the plates myself and set them on the dirty table next to us because she just didn’t bother to grab them.
my dad ordered a LOADED baked potato and he was given a plan whole uncut potato..
my mother ordered her steak “well done” and when she received her steak it was pink in the middle and mother isn’t the type to send her food back so she just didn’t touch it. the waiter didn’t even come back to the table like most resultants do and ask if everthing was okay…
kitchen also forgot a bunch of our sides throught the table.
my sister was missing her mac and cheese when Katlyn brought it out she placed it infront of my sister not speaking a word and walked away.
Before we had even finished our food the whole experience was already ruined. I don’t expect luxury dining, but I do expect basic service—and we didn’t even get that. Wouldn’t come back based on this visit alone.

My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the beef fajita.
It took them an hour and a half to get our food to us, they did come out and apologize.
Unfortunately, mine came with a toothpick in it that I found as I was eating.

They took it off our bill.

In my opinion, finding a used toothpick in your food and having to eat the other half of somebody else’s meal for dinner, the whole meal should’ve been free.
We ordered mushrooms with the steak and never got those as well!

Honestly not worth the visit. We arrived to a pretty empty resultant during the week and we waited for a bit before getting seated due to the nobody being upfront. Once seated we waited a bit to order so we could look over the menus and when we finally did order it didn’t take long before we received our food. Although the appetizer was good, it was not worth the price we paid for the amount you got. Not only was some of our other food messed up but if I’m being honest the waitress was really rude. Barley said much and didn’t bother to come and check on us at all. I wish I would have got her name but I had higher hopes with all the reviews and disappointed.

Food portions have gotten really bad/small. Not sure if it is 2026 or what but to get fajitas and only receive 4 peices of chicken and 5 peices of steak was ridiculous..I just kept staring at it like where’s the food. There was a ton of onions though. Then I asked was this the correct amount the waitress was.like yea..normally I would have taken a Pic to show but didn’t, as I was kind of in disbelief.

My grand daughter wanted her Birthday dinner there. That’s the only reason I was there. Our server was very nice and did a great job. She made sure everyone had drinks, brought them what they ask for. Took time to talk with us. Group of 8 $195.00. Grand daughter had steak baked potato mac & cheese.

My only complaint is we have to drive 3.5 hours to get to! …but is 100% worth it. Came from Ohio specifically for tumbleweed!
The food was beyond perfect. TW just gets it!
Not to mention our servers were so sweet! Hubs and I went for our 8th wedding anni dinner and Donna gave us the best experience we could have possibly had! We even had to come back for lunch the next day and both the amazing food and service streak continued! Carrie took care of us for lunch and she was just as amazing!
