After watching Estadio Palogrande, have a meal at Sushi Time. Good sushi, monkfish and miso soup are the best dishes.

I LOVE this place. Everything I have had has been GREAT, but the vegetarian rolls are REALLY good.
We’ve always eaten there, at the restaurant, but today we ordered, and they did not disappoint AT ALL.

Excelente comida, atención y variedad.

Finally a place where they don’t ruin good fish by frying it or to put it full with mayonnaise. Sushi should be sushi and not fusion with Colombian fried food. Try the “crudo platter” its the best one in Colombia so far. Sushi times gives you value for money for sure and fresh.

I rarely leave reviews this harsh, but my recent visit to this so-called “sushi” restaurant demands complete honesty. Let’s start with the food: this is not authentic sushi. Not even close. What they serve is a watered-down, Westernized imitation that bears no resemblance to real Japanese cuisine. Fish that tastes like it came from a supermarket freezer, rice that’s poorly seasoned, and rolls overloaded with sauces and fried toppings to mask the lack of technique or freshness. It’s sushi in name ONLY.

And don’t even get me started on the “Thai” food — a complete disaster. If you’re familiar with the balance of flavors, spices, and ingredients that define true Thai cuisine, you’ll instantly recognize that this place misses the mark entirely. Sweet, syrupy sauces dumped on UNDERCOOKED vegetables with no complexity, no soul, and certainly NO authenticity. It’s clear no one in the kitchen has any background in Thai cooking — or Japanese, for that matter.

What’s even more troubling is the restaurant’s response to criticism. Recent honest reviews (Brayan Sanchez, Sana Dora, Jessica Zambrano’s,.. etc,..) have been met with open hostility from the owner, who lashes out at customers instead of addressing the legitimate concerns about food quality and service. Instead of taking feedback as a chance to improve like they clearly have done in the past (Monica Castelblanco, Manuela Pineda, Alejandra Castaño’s,.etc,.) the restaurant has created an atmosphere of defensiveness and intimidation. It’s no wonder people feel bullied into leaving 5-star reviews just to avoid a scathing, public rebuttal. It’s become a pattern — criticize anything, and prepare to be attacked. A business that values its ego more than its growth is one that is marked for a miserable end.

Looking at the flood of overly enthusiastic 5-star reviews, it’s hard not to notice a trend. SOME come from people who, quite frankly, seem to have never dined at an authentic Japanese or Thai restaurant — overseas or even locally where tradition is respected. It feels like people give this place rave reviews not because the food is actually good, but because it gives them the illusion of taste and status. As if overpaying for mediocre, Instagram-friendly food somehow makes them connoisseurs. Like it or not, It doesn’t.

This place is all show and no substance — flashy presentation, shallow flavors, and a fragile ego behind the scenes. If you want real Japanese or Thai cuisine, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is not it.

After reading the reviews I had high hopes at finally finding an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in Colombia. Unfortunately the food was super disappointing. Definitely not authentic Japanese sushi.
