Laundry fills a popular dining niche here in Steamboat Springs. Laundry is located in the historic Soda Creek building that was home of the Steamboat Laundry from 1910- 1977. Went here for Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and it was absolutely perfect! Our day was looking down because we went to ski without realizing it was a blackout day, but this dinner was just what we needed to end on a high note. Our waiter was hilarious and made excellent recommendations. Everything felt gourmet and high quality while being priced very reasonably. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes!

The bison carpaccio was amazing, so amazing we ordered two servings and my grade schooler wanted to go back for more the next day. The pickle jar is good as a stand alone app during happy hour but avoid ordering if also doing dinner as the same pickled veg is served with some/most entrees. The smoked ribeye was flavorful thanks to the chimchurri but was a bit tough and I wouldn’t order it again. The evening’s special was a tomato and watermelon salad which was flavorful and well presented. I’d go back in the future, for their happy hour small plates and also the carpaccio. The happy hour menu was much more kid friendly than the dinner menu as well. Also, a shout out to Tom and Kelly for their great service.

We had a very, very good experience at Laundry tonight. We arrived at 4:30 with two kids in tow and we were delighted by the combo of happy hour and regular menu options. Our 9 year old was totally engaged in the flavors on the menu. Every single dish was SO GOOD and also – our server, Matthew was just the right combination of friendly, helpful, playful and entertaining. He is great at what he does, as is everyone in the kitchen. Thank you for a fabulous final meal in Steamboat!! We would definitely return.

My wife and I were visiting Steamboat Springs for the weekend and found the Laundry. We sat at the bar and Wendy was our bartender. She was awesome. They infuse vodka, tequila, whiskey with all different things. I had a margarita with tequila infused with strawberry rhubarb. The food was awesome.

Can’t recommend this place enough! So cute and cozy inside. The happy hour prices are extremely reasonable and all the small plates were delicious. Definitely recommend the pimento cheese and charcuterie board.
The cocktails were especially creative, we tried four different ones and they were all amazing! Turns out our waitress had created some of our favs and she walked us through each one!
On top of that, we left two pairs of sunglasses at the restaurant and didn’t realize until we were at the airport getting on our flight home. Laundry was so kind and mailed them back to NYC free of charge! Above and beyond 🙂

Why are you reading this when you could be eating here? Just go! This restaurant lived up to the hype. You have a choice between small plates that contain a few bites or large plates, but they are made to share a flavor experience either way. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious, made with unique flavor combinations in mind. From starters to drinks to desserts, this is a tasting journey to delight the senses. We dined here two nights in a row, and the service was outstanding back-to-back. Our favorite dishes were the duck croquettes and crispy mushrooms with the bread pudding to finish.

Service: We were sat in a place that was so convenient for our family.

I would say this is probably my favorite restaurant to eat at while I’m in Steamboat and I always try to at least come once. The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly, and the ambiance is wonderful. The main dining area is nice and where I prefer to be seated. They also use the restaurant next door for additional seating. The food here is super good. There isn’t a thing I’ve gotten, that I didn’t love.
Overall, this is a must go to place if you visit steamboat.

The Lamb meatballs might be the best thing I’ve eaten in years. The oysters are unique and delicious definitely recommend putting there house hot sauce on, steps it up to whole other level. Everything I tried on the menu was phenomenal. Thought it’d be overpriced ski town food but I was wrong truly an amazing place to dine. Aside from the food, service was excellent! I never had to worry about having an empty drink which is a big thing for me.
