Prices need to match what is posted on the board. Don’t tell people you can’ do anything because it’s what’s programed in your computer. It was a simple fix but apparently that dollar was more important to you than making sure the customer was happy. Food was cold and stale.

Everything was terrible. Chicken was not fresh and tasted stale, strawberry pie crust tasted like the chicken, soda was flat! Charged for the sauces and we received NONE. This is not the first time I have been at this location and seems like there’s a pattern of carelessness when it comes to the quality of the food. I only gave it another chance because I try to extend grace and give them another chance to redeem themselves. Not impressed with the Gastonia location, something is always off!

We ordered on Uber Eats for pick up and they did not receive our ticket. We attempted to order in person and were given horrible service by the individual who packaged our food. There was one employee who gave good service and did their best to assist but the other employee was rude and obnoxious. We ordered two orders of tenders and fries and received no fries and our tenders were hard and too crunchy. Horrible experience and complete surprise as we like Popeyes. $22 for just two boxes of 5 pc tenders is insane.

The most consistently slow fast food place in all of Gastonia; and some of the worst service, (cold food, wrong orders) but I DONT CARE, the chicken is so good I would happily eat some other persons cold order and wait a half hour for it, one time i was dining in a fight broke out at the cash register between an employee and a customer, it was very entertaining to watch while I ate their tasty chicken with my friends!!! Lunch and a show!

I love Popeyes and this is the only one close to me so it’s the most convenient to use but I’m stating to think that this location purposefully leaves out items on takeout orders. It’s always biscuits missing, a side missing, a drink missing. If I make an order of I know for a fact I’ll be getting free credits cause something will be gone. I’m going to start making single item by item orders to see just what will happen then.

I’ve always loved Popeyes chicken — it’s the main reason I kept coming back, even though I’ve been disappointed by their service every single time and occasionally by their food. But everything has a limit, and I think I’ve reached mine.

Sometimes I wonder if they actually want to make money or if their goal is just to frustrate their customers.

During my latest visit, I went through the drive-thru and was asked if I was a rewards member. I do have an account, but I didn’t want to waste time looking up my number, so I said no. They told me I’d have to go inside to order. Once inside, the employee behind the counter was staring at his phone, showing zero interest in serving customers. When I said I wanted to place an order, he just said, “You have to wait,” without any explanation.

After waiting several minutes with no progress, I decided to leave — and I wasn’t the only one. Other customers behind me got the same treatment and walked out too. The kitchen looked filthy, with flour scattered all over the floor, and both restrooms were unusable because neither toilet would flush.

After so many bad experiences at different Popeyes locations, I’m convinced the issue isn’t just one store — it’s a corporate management problem. I’m done with Popeyes, period.

I love this Popeyes! They’ve only been out of stuff once and they’ve only gotten my order wrong once. (I hyper fixate on food and Popeyes is my current hyperfixation so that’s actually saying something with the amount of times I’ve ordered from here now). I thought this was ‘industry standard’ but then I tried a new location and it was horrible! The food wasn’t even the same! This location just has the best cooked, biggest portions! I hate they’re kind of far from me but oh so worth it!

If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!! They suck all the way, not in just 1 way but all ways. Food was nasty and tbe customer service was even worse. The boy that took our order was puffy puffy the whole time, all around didn’t want to be there. Told us they could make a side that we wanted but it would be 6min so we agreed well 20min goes by and we finally got our food and we asked for the mac n cheese and he said he didn’t have time to make it. Then he says they didn’t have red beans and rice but yet 3 ppl behind us got it. I just would not recommend going there.

Best experience. I thought it would be fun to get all special boxes this month. They were kind and courteous and even the customer before me had a great experience. Best of McDonald’s and BK. Btw BK was second. McDonald’s was the worst! Good food too.
