Time stamp: (08/23/2025) 8:40pm – 10:00pm. Waited in the drive through line for about 10-15 minutes before we could start our order.
Ordered our food going through the drive through. Granted we ordered quite a bit of food. Truthfully though, speaking as a former restaurant employee it wasn’t that big of an order that you could mess it up. Here’s what we ordered :
20pc Honey BBQ Saucy Nuggs, 2x Large fries, 1 Medium Carmel Crunch Frosty Fusion, 1 Large Lemonade, 1 Medium Ravens Blood Frosty, 1 Chicken sandwich, 10pc Half spicy half regular chicken nuggets, and finally 2x Baconator Fries. Drive through employee was super patient super nice. Get to the window she still has patience, still is nice. We pay and she asks us to pull forward for our food after handing us our drinks. We waited about 10 minutes, again no big deal. Got our food and pulled out of the parking lot, drove 1.5 minutes away from the restaurant only to realize we are missing half our food so we go back. Get back to the restaurant tell them we’re missing our food and the employee didn’t seem to care, after about 5 more minutes of waiting to get the rest of our food, the manager finally asks if we have been helped and eventually the problem is fixed and we leave with all of our food. Once we dig into our food, everything was fine except two things, 1 being the 2 Large fries were hard and not edible to the point where basically more than 1 whole one was thrown away and this is all that was edible (pic) and 2 this is supposed to be the saucy nuggs (pic) ????? So basically we bought over priced regular chicken nuggets that we had to sauce up ourselves. $50.00 worth of food and to be honest won’t be doing that again.

I get that everything is wild in the world today. And nothing is cheap. But to sit for 20 minutes for an order. Get fries that look like this (pic attached) and get Jr baconators instead of the baconators ordered is unreal. Then to be talked to the way the drive thru workers do is unreal. “The fries must have fallen to the bottom of the bag” removes all items from bag. No magical fries. Just disappointing. Do better.

We travel a lot and usually stop at a Wendy’s if available. I don’t generally review fast food but this location was so poor I felt obligated to warn others. It wasn’t busy, but the service was incredibly slow for no apparent reason. It was also BY FAR the filthiest restaurant I have ever been in.
The general eating area was littered with trash and the floor everywhere was sticky and dirty. The ice machine was inoperable. The urinal in the men’s room was out of order (so says my hubs), and the women’s restroom smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. I was afraid to touch anything.
Fries were undercooked and went immediately into the trash.
Other than that, it was great.

Giving one star because the door dasher was nice! He delivered our food right away and all 3 burgers were on stale hard buns and not warm. The fries were cold and I mean cold like they have been sitting in the bag in the cooler cold!! The last few time we went to restaurant, the food was not much better! Let’s not get me started on drive thru…. Does anyone know why they can only help one car at a time? It’s like that every time we go… super slow! This will be the last till we start hearing better reviews!

Supposedly they close at 12am and we went around 11pm. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes to receive our order. I paid over 60 dollars for 4 meals just to get raw, smelly, and cold food. I had to get the patty’s on my own stove to cook them, even then the patty had a very unpleasant smell to it. We definitely don’t recommend this place.

They locked the doors couldn’t get inside. Told me straight up their orders come first. (Whoever is inside.) My doordash order is 45 minutes late. Absolutely despicable service from the worst staff ever at a fast food restaurant.

You can tell they refried the fries and handed them out to customers. Burger not cooked thoroughly nor the bacon. Horrible service, not friendly. Food taste disgusting, one bite and I knew I couldn’t finish the meal or I would get sick. Avoid this Wendy’s at all cost. It’s better to starve than eat here.

Went to the Wendy’s in Pontiac around 4 PM. Stood at the counter for about 3-4 minutes finally a lady employee came out from the back and said that the grill was not working. Then she turned around and walked back. Stood there for another few minutes then left. Guess they don’t sell anything else if the grill is broken. I find that it’s a big issue in Pontiac with finding good quality employees!!

Went in for a quick bite before heading back to school. I ordered through the app to make things quicker. Never received my food. I waited for 20-30 minutes for a cheeseburger. Not coming back to this location. I love wendys but holy this was insanely inconvenient for me.

Pulled up to drive through only on car in front of me and was told it was going to be a while before they could take my order, I waited and finally ordered, cashier was not friendly and ignored my wife when she asked for a drink holder, manager was at the counter, working on trying to break down stuff to go home and not helping get orders out for two sandwiches some fries a few nuggets and 2 frosty I spent almost 25 minutes in drive through without even getting an apology for the wait. Then my fries where Luke warm and had no salt on them, and my frosty sat at the window for five minutes melting waiting on the cashier to head it to me, and the soda they gave me was straight carbonation no soda flavor at all. Definitely would not go back to this Wendy’s worth the drive however far to go anywhere else
