I can’t rate the food here high enough! LOVE the boomyaki wings! Haven’t found a better wing spot yet! I moved out of state, but every time I am in town, Coaches Corner is a must stop. The mozzarella sticks and the cheese dip and chips appetizers are also so good and the mozz sticks give such a long cheese pull! If you’re in the area, you must try this place!

First time ordering some sweet and spicy wings , got the wrong flavor they corrected the issue and gave me the sauce that I wanted. Great Customer Service. Appreciate the lady who fixed my order will definitely be back.

We are on a cross country trip from California to South Carolina and are spending a day exploring Wetumpka. We enjoyed shopping in the charming downtown area, and finished the day with an excellent dinner at Coaches Corner Sports Bar & Grill. My wife ordered a Chicken House Salad and proclaimed it “excellent.” I had the Fajita Stuffed Potato and also proclaim it excellent. The queso really tied the dish together adding a lot of flavor and moisture. It could have done without the lettuce as it really didn’t enhance the dish, in my opinion. But I would go to Coaches Corner again and would not hesitate to order the Fajita Stuffed Potato. It was quite satisfying. Finally, our server was outstanding! She was enthusiastic and helpful. She checked on our table several times throughout our meal. Great food and great service make for a fantastic dining experience!

The specials were very reasonably priced. I had the surf and turf with an 8 ounce sirloin a couple shrimp a baked potato roll and some corn for 15.95. I was a little nervous, thinking the sirloin would be trash however it was surprisingly decent definitely worth the money.
I went on happy hour and my beers were only 2.50 which was nice. I would definitely return and check out some of their other offerings.

I called 2 weeks ago to book a party for my daughter for 5:00 pm on Saturday Feb 4. I was told we could not make reservations but we would be able to be seated with a party of 30 people. I also went in person and spoke to a young lady with the same confirmation. When we arrived with our party the girl up front acted as if she did not want to seat us. I explained that I had spoken on the phone as well as come up and spoken to a staff member about our pre planned event. They kept trying to twist my words and lower the number of people I had booked for. It was extremely unprofessional unwelcoming and flat out rude. The young lady that I had spoken to in person told us that we could get the banquet free because of the misunderstanding and that it would be ready in about 20 minutes. As we were waiting for the room to get ready a young red haired man came out and said okay you can get the room for $50. I said well that’s not what I was told. He said you can get it or we can split up your party. I said ok well I guess I’ll take my 50 people and you can get 50 bad reviews because this is unfair. I did everything right and they would not honor their word. My mother in law ended up paying the fee because I am way to stubborn to let someone run all over me. The food the room and our waitress was amazing!!!!! We had a beautiful time and enjoyed ourselves but it took a lot to get in that room. I’m dissatisfied with the initial treatment and the way the young man handled the situation and turned bright red and stormed away from me. But again our waitress was great and so was the food!!! The restaurant needs a lot of help though. Management is not good. Bathrooms were out of order and filthy. Young kids trying to run the restaurant and not communicating well or upholding their word. It was a mess but it ended up being a great night with a great waitress great food and a Happy Birthday girl!!!

This is a fun little place to go. You can sit inside or outside but it’s all glassed off so you’re not actually outside. Atmosphere is fun and the are the waiters and waitresses. I have cold beer on tap and regular beer and bottle. There’s also featured in a famous TV show. The downtown area that it’s in is very nice and fun to just walk around. We go there on Thursday nights when it’s all you can eat wings. $15 for all you can eat. Other nights have like all you can eat fish and several other things throughout the week. Go give it a try and some great place to eat and have a good time.

Wonderful location in beautiful old town Wetumpka. Caught a gorgeous sunset over the Coosa River during dinner. Food was solid. For a restaurant of this prestige I would like to see mac & cheese added as a side option and at least one house made juice. Fountain drinks aren’t a big hit for me. Will try to come back and visit again 🙂
