This was our first time visiting Smokin Jim’s, it was a little slow service at first but it was peak time for dinner and lots of people were there for AYCE ribs. After receiving our food everything was great and Leo really loved the ribs. They were great and the waitress made sure we were satisfied.

First off the stench coming from the parking lot right before entering the restaurant was nauseating. Walked into the restaurant there were about 7 customers total. We looked for a clean table, couldn’t find one, so we left. It’s about perception could they have just been hit by 4 bus loads of people possible, (doubt it) but possible. When we walked in it was slow and no clean tables, maybe we’ll try again some other time, but for now not a great experience, especially that smell will make you lose your appetite before walking into this restaurant.

This place was worth the drive from Orlando. Ribs were fall off the bone tender..brisket was 1 of the best i have had in fl. Baked beans were on point. I believe the person that took care of was kortnei. She took great care of me. The egg rolls were good enough that i had ordered more to go. 1 and Only negative i had was with the mac n cheese. Not worth trying, but that’s it. I would frequent smokin jims if it was closer And recommend to all to try out.

This is our go-to place for ribs. We saw where they have steak on Saturday nights so we gave it a try. This is also now our place for steak. My wife and I got the 8 oz filet and my brother got the 16 oz ribeye. This is the best steak in Polk county. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Went Friday night. 1st time. Absolutely loved the food, people and atmosphere. The only thing I wasn’t in love with was their “sweet tea”. I wish they had option of southern sweet tea. I highly recommend this place! It is added to our date nights, take home dinners and whatever excuse we can come up with!

Food here is great! Came out hot, fresh and fast! The beef brisket was a little bit tough, and we thought the redneck fries were covered too much in cheese sauce! The server working was impressive! She was by herself, packed full with tables and still gave great service!
