Edit: Found a hair in the watery, white sauce. The hummus tastes super weird like it has cheese in it almost. Definitely missing salt and lemon and seems like it is made with an oil that is not olive oil.

I came here after seeing great reviews. I got gyro and chicken shawarma plates. The chicken shawarma is pink, almost like tandoori chicken that completely lacks flavor. The gyro is burnt and very salty. The plate is predominately rice which tastes how I imagine creek water would with two watery, flavorless sauces, soggy cucumber salad, and a little meat. All of this for $18 per plate… The restaurant -if you can call it that – seems to be fashioned out of the storeroom of the adjoining corner store/vape shop. The premises are very dirty. The power outlets lack proper covers, tiles falling off the walls, etc. I don’t know how this place has such good ratings.

Hayati Mediterranean Grill goes crazy. Hole in the wall joint serving it up proper. The gyros slap hard and you’re not finding a better bang for your buck anywhere. Shawarma plates? Premo every time. This spot just hits.

Ordered chicken shawarma plate. Chicken is died red/pink with almost no flavor. Looks nothing like the picture on their website. Site pictures hummus, comes with yogurt sauce instead. Baklava was pretty bad too. Fries were good.

Just might be the best value in Denver. Gyro with a good amount of meat for 8 bucks. Not to mention it tastes better than most gyros double its price from places like Byblos and Zaman.

Not the greatest to sit inside, I’d rec takeout and go eating it at fuller park.

This place caught my attention because of decent reviews, but the food quality is super low. I ordered a gyro plate and got a little bit of meat and mostly rice.

Falafel is overly salty and not pleasant to eat.

Avoid at all costs.

Definitely the kind of place that instantly gives you the vibe the food might make you sick when you walk in, but the gyro salad wasn’t terrible, nothing tasted off. The little green sauce containers don’t look or smell particularly appetizing. Wish they’d give you a whole pita instead of half.

One dude was on his phone the whole time and Rahim was in the back workin. I ordered baklava but it wasn’t in the bag when he told me my order was ready.

Lamb shank reviews look gas though so maybe I’d come back for that if I knew when the best time to come is.

Came here for late night grub but had the best gyro ever. The pita was soft and crispy, meat was fresh, veggies were plenty and fresh, the cilantro sauce was amazing. The worker was quick and kind. Come here!!!

The food was quite nice. You may be discouraged from dining in seeing the ambience of the place. But the food makes it quite worth it. They don’t provide additional plates and glasses so might as well take the food home. The kebab platter was yummy. Kinda disappointed that they didn’t serve hummus with it, which was what I was mainly here for. The baklava was kinda hard so wouldn’t order that again. The lamb was good and well cooked.
