This spot never disappoints!! When you want a REAL burger, skip that thirty something place and add another ten and come on on to 43. Flavor and portion makes it worth the cost!! It’s a real juicy burger, with real meat, real cheese and real taste. If you’re looking for that mom and pop burger spot… this is that joint!! My order was what it was because of my extras but the price is so reasonable for what you get. I went eight as they opened , was order number 1 so it was quiet.

In search for the perfect burger i found a hidden treasure. I strongly recommend The Campfire. You wont find it on the menu but they do sell it and its not shy of flavor. To be honest anything you order here to include the sides is very good. I love this restaurant for its excellent customer service and atmosphere is just awesome.

Just tried this place last night and wish I would have gone sooner. Nice laid back atmosphere, walked up to the counter and looked over the menu, Mariah suggested the special which was the BLT burger served on toast. Sounded good, ordered two of those with fires and a coke. When she rang it up it was 23.53. I was pleasantly shocked. Very reasonable price, heck I spend that much at McDonalds for two people. Cute little young lady brought us over our order, offered condiments, and we were very happy with the order. It was a very good burger, fries and a special seasoning which was also pleasant. Usually I take pictures unless the food is so good that I am too busy eating, which was the case tonight. Love this place. Thank you to the staff it was a very nice evening meal. We will for sure be back, you just moved way up on our list.

I’ve been back in this area for two years and FINALLY tried this place and boy do I feel stupid. Walking in, we already liked the atmosphere. It isn’t the sterile aesthetic that the big chains go through. It’s… comfy. That’s a good thing. The customer service was great. They were friendly and helpful for us newcomers. But all that is just fluff compared to the burgers. O. M. G. From the buns to the toppings to the patties… amazing. Seriously, for the price, you won’t do better. It is an instant favorite and I can’t wait to go back to try their other burgers. Even the soda is super interesting. Last thing, I was amazed to find out it was actually founded in Cove and has just one other place in Killeen. Dangit… now I want a burger.

This is not an exaggeration when I say it’s the only restaurant I eat at in Cove. I don’t always work in Cove but when I do I will eat here 2-3 days in a row. It is without a doubt the best restaurant…. Anywhere!!! The service is phenomenal! The food is incredible!! The atmosphere is fantastic! If anyone give this place a bad review I would seriously trust their judgement! Love Black Meg 43!!

Maybe caught them on a busy day, but I want to know what their definition of fast food is. Cause this ain’t it. That being said, the burger was really tasty with good seasoning. Onion rings are solid. Would definitely return with lowered expectations of the wait time.
