My go-to when I have time. Their food doesn’t disappoint. Everything I’ve had was perfect. Nothing fancy. Just don’t right. Ruben, Cheese Steak, French Dip, Blackened Fish Sandwich. Fries are great. I’ve never had the burger but literally everyone tells me they’re great. I’m still working through the menu. So far everything is amazing. No kale for decoration. Just hot and fresh food every time.

This place is a totally chill place with great atmosphere, nice music playing on the background even when there’s no live band performing there, and the dim lighting gives a rather pleasant, romantic atmosphere, and they have a huge outdoor dining area with a bar, and I was VERY impressed with the overall atmosphere and crew!
This is the perfect place if you want a nice place to chill that also has great food! I was impressed by their burger with hand-pressed beef, nice fresh veggies, and they have EXCELLENT sweet tea and it comes in really big styrofoam cup, and they DO offer a free refill, which is hardly needed because the cup holds a generous amount of drink 🙂
I also ordered their fried mushroom/onion ring basket, and it was delicious! The only downfall being the meat patty did not appear to be seasoned in any way which is a slight downfall, but overall the whole experience is an easy FIVE STARS, and I look forward to my next visit the next time I’m in DeLand 🙂

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Live Music, Food, and Atmosphere!
My wife and I are in our late 60s and have been to OB’s in DeLand many times. It’s one of the few places in the area where you can count on good, reliable live music—solid rock and country bands on a regular basis. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the crowd is a great mix, and it’s especially welcoming to bikers. OB’s has a comfortable, familiar feel that makes it easy to enjoy yourself.
The food is excellent and the menu is classic nightclub fare done right. The waitresses are always friendly, accommodating, and professional. Drinks are poured just right—no scrimping—and there’s a good selection of beers and cocktails. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering you get great live music with no cover charge.
You can tell the owners put their budget where it counts—into the band lineup and the quality of the kitchen. The place is always clean, and the patio seating for the music area is in great shape. The only small thing we’d love to see improved is the seating around the outside bar: some of the old tubular metal stools have seen better days and could use an upgrade.
That said, OB’s remains one of the most fun, easygoing, and enjoyable nights out in DeLand. If you like great food, live music, friendly people, and a no-nonsense local vibe, OB’s is the spot. Highly recommend it!

Fun bar with a surprisingly great grill. Limited menu but food is really good. My favorite is the turkey club! Service is outstanding. Great bar atmosphere with three pool tables.
