This evening we celebrated my birthday at The Cow Pub & Kitchen, with my family, and everything was absolutely excellent. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, the food was so good, and the desserts were truly impressive! A real highlight of the night! We felt well looked after from start to finish. I highly recommend this place, and it’s a big yes for going back. Thank you so much to everyone for making our celebration so special!

It was my first time being in this pub as was attending an event in a near by venue and wanted to eat somewhere Close by. Ordered their burger special that was €24 and thought when ordering it was overpriced, staff where attentive and easy to speak with. Once food arrived i was surprised by how good it looked and once started eating was amazed at how good it also tasted. I got an IPA draft beer with it and it was also 10/10. I went up to pay after and was pleasently surprised that the specials had a free beer offer that day also so had my beer thrown in for free. Ill be back again the next chance i get and ill have the same food again. Best burger meal ive eaten.

Such a lovely little pub walking distance from our hotel. We came right at open, so it wasn’t busy yet, and we were able to sit in the sun room area. Our server was lovely and attentive. I had the courgette and sausage pasta special and my husband had the venison pie. Oh my goodness, they were both piping hot throughout the entire meal, and so so yummy. We were sad we had to leave some behind bc our hotel doesn’t have mini fridges. Such a wonderful meal. I got a sticky toffee pudding to bring back to the hotel, and that was good too.

I found the Cow online and laughed at the name. Originally from Iowa, I thought it was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I can honestly say, the experience far outpaced my expectations. The service was unparalleled. Our server, David, was spectacular and made the evening feel special and unique. Thank you so much for the amazing way to celebrate!

I just could not pass up a place called the cow pub and kitchen and it did not disappoint. The meat pie topped with mashed potatoes, like what else would you get in Ireland, was delicious. The goat cheese salad included marinated nectarines, and they were a pleasant surprise. The macaroni and cheese was rich and delightful.

This newly revamped restaurant/bar is amazing. From the decor to the freshly cooked food, you can’t beat it. The decor is very modern and elegant while the food is freshly cooked to order. The service is fantastic, with the staff being very friendly and attentive. Would recommend this for lovely date night.

Small rant alert! One of my biggest pet peeves is “Fine Dining”. I ranted with a friend of mine recently, where we both agreed that our collective experience of fine dining was that we were always fed a lot of pretentious nonsense, charged a fortune, and left the restaurant still hungry afterwards.
The Cow isn’t “Fine Dining” and doesn’t style itself as such, but it is the embodiment of what Fine Dining promises and seldom delivers. The Cow is a little pricey, but worth every penny. The menu at first seems a little limited, but between the regular menu, Vegetarian Menu and the range of specials, there’s a surprising array of choice. The food is varied, bold and imaginative, with balanced flavours and all beautifully cooked. The staff are friendly, attentive, and infectiously good-humored, The ambience is just lovely, helped by the excellent service and top choice of music!
Highly recommend the scallops and venison, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Just had the most incredible dining experience at The Cow’s Italian Night. We were treated to a stunning five-course meal, perfectly paired with exceptional wine. Joe and his team delivered impeccable service throughout. I’m hoping they host another Italian night soon!

While traveling for work I stopped here after calling a few places to see who might be able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I’m on a low FODMAP diet for a month and it’s so difficult to find anything to eat out! The people at this restaurant were so kind to me, especially my server David, and the kitchen adapted one of their dishes for me. I wouldn’t have known this wasn’t a dish on their regular menu and it was amazing to have a proper meal after a lot of bland salads on this work trip. The place is pretty small but has a lovely covered outdoor space. It was cozy and friendly with delicious food. Highly recommend!
